Credit Risk Oversight & Strategy is a department within Credit Risk and consists of three teams with focus on the Client Unit segments. The Oversight & Strategy teams manage and monitor the moderate risk profile of the bank-wide credit risk portfolio with a focus on its credit quality, the risk strategy and the implementation of strategic objectives.
In this role, you will amongst others execute strong stakeholder management, provide a second line opinion on a wide variety of strategic matters related to credit risk, validate credit risk portfolio analysis, play a pivotal role in a variety of bank-wide strategic projects and advise risk committees on strategic changes, portfolio- and product reviews.
You will help Credit Risk in its role to keep oversight and control over the entire credit risk balance sheet of ABN AMRO.
You will work within the Oversight & Strategy team positioned in the department Credit Risk. The Oversight & Strategy team consists of ~32 FTE of highly motivated specialists with different (international) backgrounds, working in Client Unit focused teams and a Requirements Setting team. The team has an in-depth knowledge of- and insight in the bank as a whole and plays a pivotal role at the intersection of Board, Senior Management and (operational) Business.

- VormYou are a team player;
- Graduated from University with a MSc and at least 5-7 years of working experience;
- Working experience in either Business, (Credit) Risk, Finance and/or 3rd LoD (Internal Audit);
- Knowledge of and/or interest in supra-Credit Risk subjects such as ICAAP, RAS, Management Control Cycle, etc;
- You provide sharp and concise analyses in combination with the ability to strategically advise Risk Committees (EERC, BRC, GRC, IPC, GPAC);
- You are independent but have no trouble working in a team or project;
- You are aware of the strategy of the Client Units and (Credit) Risk and familiar with the processes within Risk Management;
- Knowledge of applicable Credit Risk laws and regulations e.g. CRR, Basel, EBA guidelines;
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in English;
- Preferably Dutch speaking (or willingness to learn);
- Expertise in the field of Financial Services and strong project management skills are advantageous.
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
