XVA Specialist

You and your job

Realizing added value as a XVA specialist to Markets by contributing to the development of our XVA skills in order to properly price client activities. By interaction with the whole derivatives chain we try to enable Markets to make servicing clients valuable to Markets. We expect you to collaborate with sales, traders, quants, and risk managers to price XVA and risk manage our positions. We are a small but vital team that with you consist of 3 colleagues.

Practical Examples

• Understand portfolio impacts on XVA metrics;
• Stay on top of capital developments;
• Working closely with control, product control, risk and hedge accounting regarding XVA items;
• Optimize bilateral portfolios to reduce capital and counterparty exposure;
• Compress existing cleared and bilateral trades;
• Continue to develop our pricing systems;
• Interact with XVA stakeholders within Rabobank.

Together we achieve more than alone
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We are a small but vital team and with you as a XVA Specialist, the team will consist of 3 colleagues. We provide XVA prices to sales and trading desks. The desk is also a key contributor to our capital framework, this in collaboration with risk department. In managing our XVA risk we work together with our product control teams.

You and your talent

You have an outgoing mentality and are not afraid to start a dialogue or share opinions even if they deviate from others or consensus. Moreover, you are keen to make a difference and willing to go the extra mile. In addition, it is important that you recognize everything in the checklist below:

• Masters degree;
• Deep understanding of the financial markets, the bank’s positions and trading strategies;
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills with style flexibility and integrity are clearly essential for the role of XVA specialist;
• You have strong analytical and commercial skills, and are result driven with eye for quality as well.;
• Fluent in written and spoken English;

This is what we offer

• a gross monthly salary in job grade 9, depending on knowledge and experience
• An extra budget of 10 % of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. This could for example be to buy extra holiday hours, add to your pension savings, or to be paid out
• A thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
