Senior Sales FI Fixed Income

As Senior Sales FI Fixed Income, you add value to our Financial Institutional clients by acting as a specialist for Bonds and Interest Rate Derivatives within Markets. You make a difference by contributing to the development and marketing of our product proposition.


You and your job
Acting as a Senior Sales, you will be the main point of contact for Financial Institution clients in your region of competence (Benelux and Nordics). You will be responsible to market and distribute financial products to the most relevant investors in the region.


Get results

  • Develop and maintain close relationships with clients and understand their needs. Additionally, look to expand the customer basis by acquiring new investors.
  • Seek opportunities to cross-sell different Markets products and solutions, regionally and globally (including for other FI Sales teams).
  • Generate new initiatives and business ideas that contribute to Rabobank’s and Markets’ strategy.

  • Price, capture and execute deals on a daily basis.
  • Prepare and deliver relevant market intelligence, trends and dynamics to clients.
  • Play an important role in the Bond Value Chain, together with your colleagues in Debt Capital Market, Trading, Sales and Research.

The 11 people in FI Fixed Income Sales aim to improve and grow our flow product offering to Financial Institutional clients across Europe. Working together is the way we work, as 1 determined team at Rabobank.

You and your talent

  • Bachelor or Masters degree
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience with financial markets and sales
  • Good understanding of the financial markets, the bank’s positions and trading strategies
  • Customer focus, strong interpersonal & communication skills with style flexibility and integrity
  • You have strong analytical and commercial skills, and are result driven with eye for quality as well.
  • You have an outgoing mentality and are not afraid to start a dialogue or share opinions even if they deviate from others or consensus.
  • In addition to English, you will need to be fluent in Dutch in order to maximize client’s coverage.


This is what we offer you

  • Up to € 9770,-  gross per month based on 40 hours (scale 10 or scale 11 depends on your experience)
  • A thirteenth month and holiday pay
  • An Employee Benefit Budget of 11%. You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash payout.
