Since we are ambitious, we need your expertise to help us reaching our goals. Together with enthusiastic and talented colleagues of the Business Intelligence & Analytics team you are going to identify business opportunities.

Your job

As Data Analyst in the BI & Analytics, Consumer and Affluent team of the Center of Expertise Busines Intelligence & Analytics, you work closely with various departments of Customer & Digital Experience (CDE) to provide them with advanced analytics and valuable data insights, developing an overall improvement of the customer experience. With your analytical and communication skills you will support department domains with the implementation of Self-Service BI (SSBI) and be a part of the SSBI strategy development. For this reason, you will give advice on a tactical and strategical level.

We need you as an analyst to help us grow and mature as a data driven organization that continuously delivers value. You have a proven business and/or marketing acumen and are able to translate business requirements into deliverables and set priorities accordingly. You are naturally curious and eager to learn new technologies and tools. In addition, your knowledge and experience in tools helps you deliver clear analytics and reporting. Your experience with online analytics tools is on point and you have knowledge of reporting or dashboarding tools. As a Data Analyst, you are not scared of the technical aspects and analytics implementation on our websites and apps. You have the knowledge of implementation to work with our developer teams to secure a structured data gathering on a team basis.

You are an excellent negotiation partner for Product Owners and Grid Owners with clear insights on the developments of the digital channels and know how to motivate decisions. You will do this based on data of the apps, Internet Banking, websites, and the CRM tool.

Working environment

From Tikkie to personalized mobile advertising and a chatbot that really matters. At this place people work on the successful banking app as well as Grip. Here you find our E-Commerce teams and our colleagues of ‘Video Banking’. In short, within Customer & Digital Experience the online platforms are being created and built that offer all the digital products of ABN AMRO Personal & Business Banking. All of these developments and products are powered by the data & analytics of the Center of Expertise Business Intelligence & Analytics (CoE BI&A).

Your profile

You are up to date with the latest developments in tooling, advanced analytics, profiling, tagging and web analytics, therefore a real digital data analyst. The job requires excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail. Considering the multi-disciplinary teams, being a true team-player is essential. You are creative, can inspire others to be likewise and have a sense of humor. Do you think you fit the bill?

Required qualifications:

  • Able to effectively communicate (in written and spoken English) about your analysis and results;
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or college in computer science, Data or Business Analytics;
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a commercial and analytical online marketing profession;
  • Work experience with Web analytics tools and BI tooling, for example Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Power BI, DataBricks, Splunk, Tableau, Python;
  • Knowledge of and experience with statistical software packages, database and selection techniques (SQL/SAS/R);
  • Experience with data management and analytics in a cloud environment is a plus
  • Strong analytic skills and affinity with data analytics, (pre)processing, and data handling;
  • Pro-active attitude and an excellent team player.
  • Knowledge of and experience with tag management, targeting, segmentation and profiling;
  • Knowledge of developments in the field of analytics, online marketing, digital technologies and APIs;
  • Able to present data in an attractive way.

Experience with Self-Service Business Intelligence is a plus
