As a Back-end Developer, you will play a crucial role in one of our agile scrum teams. Your daily responsibilities will include participating in scrum meetings, aiding the team's advancement towards the sprint goal, working on user stories, and execution of our development strategy.
Your role will revolve around the development and enhancement of our app. You will collaborate closely with your team to develop innovative features and ensure a smooth user experience for our users, thereby enhancing the overall functionality and performance of our app.
Your experience and knowledge will be vital as you explore and master new technologies or frameworks, keeping yourself and your team updated with the latest technological advancements. As a medior developer, you will have a mindset of offering a helping hand to your team members, promoting a collaborative environment, and focusing on your personal development and learning.

What is required for this position:
- You have experience with micro-services and event-driven architecture, especially on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS/Postgres, ECS/EKS, Kafka, Firehose)
- You are proficient with Go on AWS Lambda, Java/Spring in containers and Typescript for CDK (if you haven't worked with Go on AWS, this is not a dealbreaker. If you have experience as a software engineer, you should be able to pick this up in a month or two)
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
- Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
- An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
