Data Steward

As Data Steward Financial Markets & Treasury at ASN Bank, you play a key role in managing, monitoring and improving data quality within our financial markets environment. You ensure that market data, transaction data and reference data are timely, accurate, complete and reliable for decision-making, reporting and risk management purposes. Is this something for you?

What will you do?You work closely with the Financial Markets departments, Front Office, Risk & Control, Back Office and IT and within the Bank you are also the point of contact from Financial Markets. You ensure good data governance, working with robust data standards and implementing and complying with internal and external regulations (such as ESG and BCBS239 regulations).

Your responsibilities:

• Ensuring the quality, completeness and consistency of market and transaction data in collaboration with operational and support teams.
• Maintaining and applying data standards, definitions and business rules.
• Identifying and resolving data quality issues (data lineage, duplication, inconsistencies).
• Supporting regulatory reporting and data audits (including BCBS239, ESG reporting).
• Coordinating with data owners and domain specialists, such as Finance, Risk, Compliance and other data stewards.
• Actively contributing to the establishment of data governance and metadata management.
• Monitoring data flows and identifying risks in data quality or integrity.
• Ensuring cost insight, control and monitoring of data contracts.

This is where you'll workFinancial Markets & Treasury is responsible for the bank's cash management and funding activities, management of the liquidity portfolio and hedging of market risks. The team consists of financial and risk experts, where mutual atmosphere and collegiality are important. The Data Steward works closely with the various teams within Financial Markets & Treasury. This in an environment that is constantly moving due to market developments and changing laws and regulations.

Your qualities

• HBO/University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science or comparable.
• At least 4 years of experience as a data steward or in a similar role within Financial Markets, investment operations or Treasury.
• Knowledge of financial instruments, market data and transaction processing.
• Experience with data quality tools and data governance (including SQL).
• Accurate, structured and solution-oriented mindset.

This is what you get form usThis position is in scale 10 with a salary range between €69.671 and €92.895 gross annual fixed income (13th month and 8% holiday allowance included) and based on 36 hours workweek. In addition, you can count on:
