At Rabobank we want to deliver the best services for our IT engineers, and you as Product Owner Google Cloud Platform (GCP) can play a central role in providing them!

You would join the Area Engineering Platforms that provides global infrastructure for the bank as compliant, easy-to-use, self-service solutions. We focus on 4 strategic pillars: providing stable and secure infrastructure, enhancing the ease of use of our services while maturing them, enabling engineers within the bank to use the best fitting infrastructure, and we integrate our insights and services in Nexa*  

* Nexa is Rabobank's centralized platform for everything needed to deliver secure, standardized, and innovative, high-quality solutions. Nexa simplifies the entire DevOps journey and accelerates the IT delivery.

GCP usage is contained, as per Rabobank's Architectural Standards considering other public cloud providers to be the standard landing zones for IaaS and PaaS requirements. However, GCP is intended for services that specifically support Google SaaS and cannot be hosted elsewhere. Together with the India-based offshore squad, you will be managing two products:

• Google Cloud Platform. We deliver managed platform services (PaaS/FaaS) designed to meet the unique requirements of 1) supporting Google SaaS and 2) a range of Google platforms including Google Maps APIs, Android APIs, and Cloud Messaging Services for Firebase, among others. Both provided to IT squads in The Netherlands, the regions South America and Australia/New Zealand as well as the HR and Marketing domains. We intend to abstract away the platform (e.g. availability, resilience), security (e.g. controls, policies) and business layers (e.g. IAM integration, security monitoring) for our internal Rabobank consumers. Allowing them to focus on their application-layer level.
• Google Cloud Identity. We manage and provide a unified Identity and Access enablement for Google Services, integrated with Microsoft Entra ID.

We expect this role not to be fulltime, creating the opportunity for you to job-craft and add value beyond GCP using your strengths and expertise. Examples could be the organisation and content ideation of our area stakeholder reviews, involvement in cross-area and/or tribe topics, input collection on user needs or creating the content on our area’s value outcomes.

We are happy to offer you the flexibility to combine home and other interest with working at Rabobank. Allowing you to opt for any between 28 and 36 hours a week divided over 4 to 5 days.

• As a PO you set the priority based on the value it has for your consumers and measure so;
• Be GCP advocate; voice the benefits of certain SaaS solutions to become a bank standard and do say no when it should to certain requests;
• Own, communicate and evolve the product vision and roadmap, including the future perspective on SaaS solutions and delivery of Managed Standardized Services (MSS);
• Keep the bank running in a safe & secure way;
• Align with Architecture to create the best GCP solutions;
• Your consumers and relevant stakeholder have insights in (their) usage of GCP;
• As a Product Owner, you are part of the leadership of the area.

• Academic working and thinking level.
• You have 3+ years of experience creating value, in a PO role.
• You focus on service adoption and success (outcomes), rather than technical deliverables (outputs), experience with OKR goals is considered a pré. 
• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification.
• Affinity and experience with data-driven working, Agile, technology, and innovation;
• You are fluent in English (verbal and written) and can tailor your communication to diverse audiences; Dutch proficiency is a plus.

Preferably you have:

• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform services.
• Experience in Banking/ Highly regulated industry
• Experience working with an offshore squad
• A marketing communication background and/or affinity
• Experience with journey mapping and/or other technologies looking to optimize user experience is a plus;
