You’ll become part of the FEC Design Team, where we design applications that help analysts investigate the integrity of our customers. Our goal? Make their work easier, faster, and more human.

For this project, you’ll tackle a challenge that matters: how can we improve incident management across multiple departments? Analysts often run into issues and need support, but there’s no clear vision on how to manage these incidents efficiently and effectively across departments. Your mission is to design a hands-on vision that brings clarity, making life better for everyone involved.

• Dive into UX and service design: research, ideate, and prototype solutions that work in practice, for analysts and the support team.
• Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to understand real needs and technical limitations.Explore service blueprints, low- and high-fidelity prototypes and validate them with end users.
• Deliver a portfolio-ready project: a tested service design concept and interactive prototypes that showcase your skills.

• Experience the full design process: apply design thinking, from research to implementation, and have a direct impact on how Rabobank supports its employees.

• Period: +-20 weeks
• Hours per week: 36
• Location: Utrecht, Croeselaan 18 – we work hybrid
• Start date: Preferably February, but flexible

• You’re currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Communication & Multimedia Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Passionate about design and creating delightful experiences.
• Hands-on and practical — you like turning ideas into real solutions.
• Service-oriented and proactive, with a can-do attitude.
• You see feedback as fuel for growth.
• Comfortable taking ownership and driving your work forward.
• Always keeping the end-user in mind.
• Skilled in Figma and familiar with service blueprints.
• Able to conduct UX research and translate insights into design.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
