Data Quality Analyst Support Intern

Your data quality and analytical skills have an impact on our 8.5 million customers.

You and your job
At Rabobank we are currently working on structurally improving the heart of our bank; the Data domain. To achieve this improvement, we are looking for an Intern in Data Quality support for the Global Default Data Center of Expertise for the business lines Wholesale & Rural (W&R). In this role you will work with various stakeholders within the dynamic team and international environment.

Practical examples

• You will play a role in increasing the profitability of the W&R business by lowering its capital requirements through taking on the responsibility to build and improve the global Default Data Journey.
• You are the bridge between Rabobank head office and the international W&R branches in the execution of their recently implemented Default Data processes and following of the standard approach.
• You will play a role in the continuous improvement of W&R model data requirements and Default Data processes, procedures and Data Quality improvement.

Top 3 responsibilities

• You will develop an understanding about Data quality challenges, the credit structure issues within a bank and given the opportunity to learn how to perform data quality checks yourself while being supportive to the senior QA consultants in the team
• You will contribute to the daily Data Quality process through the collection and structuring of data as the preparation of the Data Quality process in the team, in close collaboration with our Data Quality Assurance Consultants and Analysts
• You would be able to initiate and contribute to improvements to the current data collection and preparation process and engage with various stakeholders in the W&R, Credit, Risk and data domains

You and your talent

• Pursuing a master's degree in for example a Finance, Economics or Data.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects at one time. 
• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• You are a quick learner and a self-starter who can work individually and in teams.
• Organized, eye for detail and able to maintain oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Dutch is a Pré.
• Knowledge or affinity with banking, credit risk or data is a plus.
• Affinity with SQL and Databricks.
