Intern
(February - June 2013 / 32 – 40 hours per week)

The intern will be working from the office of Triodos Investment Management located in Zeist, the Netherlands. Please be aware that we can only consider applicants that already have a valid work and residence permit for The Netherlands and that are registered as a student throughout the internship period.

Responsibilities
The internship is developed to provide experience in fund development and fund management. The intern will work with the investment managers and fund managers to enhance fund development and build further on in house knowledge and expertise. This internship will enable the intern to develop insight in the field of Environmental, Social and Governance related procedures that investors use as a guideline. It will also provide insight into current and new methods to measure impact. These topics can be a sound basis for internship reporting or thesis purposes.

• Structure available in house information in the field of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) related matters;
• Compare this information with best market practices;
• Analysis of current approach to ESG and measuring impact in the Triodos network;
• Analysis and comparison with the approach developed for ESG and impact measurement by competitors and industry specialists in the energy sector.

Profile

• Affinity with the mission of Triodos Bank;
• Academic student, Economics or equivalent;
• Strong analytical skills and profound knowledge of English;
• Interest in the (international) energy sector and investment management;
• Interest in the topic of ESG and impact measurement;
• Strong social skills / ability to work efficiently with a variety of departments and people within the Triodos Bank.
