Product Owner Business Intelligence

Do you want to create a more data-driven world together with us? As a Product Owner within the Business Intelligence division of Rabobank you will work to develop a qualitatively sustainable ‘One source of truth’ for our clients. You will be in charge of an efficient team that is moving at a high pace to deliver their data products. It will be your responsibility to empower the people in your team and make sure they can create data products with the most value, enabling the organization towards data-driven decision making. Besides your team, you also monitor what all your stakeholders need to make sure that reliable and trustworthy data products are continuously delivered.

You and your job
We, the Business Intelligence (BI) area of Rabobank, develop sustainable and high-quality ‘one source of truth’ information products and self-service products to support topics such as ‘Financial and Economic Crime’ (FEC), creating Self-service building blocks for our clients in the bank, as well as dashboarding for the commercial domain in its data-driven work. Together with you, we make this possible. Rapid developments and digitalization offer loads of opportunities to provide our stakeholders with valuable insights through management information, dashboarding and analytics.

As Product Owner you will be responsible for the product vision of your team, and a corresponding product portfolio. You get the opportunity to create your own vision and share it with your team and stakeholders. Prioritizing the most important topics, as well as managing your stakeholders are crucial parts of your role.
 

Practical Examples

• Designing, building, maintaining and improving our BI Information Factories.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand the requested insights on their journey towards data-driven decision making by prioritizing data products with the highest value.
• This product owner role is specifically for the Self-Service & Building Blocks (SS&BB) squad: we are creating a data model utilizing different sources of customer feedback to enable the organization to independently take action using their own insights which they can build from our data model.

You and your talent

• HBO- or WO-equivalent education
• Minimum 4 years of work experience as team lead or Product owner
• Experience with an IT- or data environment
• Experience with complex organizations and stakeholder management
• Scrum/Agile is your way of working
• Focus on the solution

This is what we offer you

• A monthly salary based on 36 hours and depending on your experience this is either in scale 10 (between €4718 - €6741 gross) or scale 11 (between €5678 - €8111 gross).
• An extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
