You and your job

As the Solution architect for Model Orchestration Platform you make an impact in designing the architecture solutions to industrialise credit risk models. This data platform serve the regulatory needs for every Rabobank portfolio in executing their risk models, inspecting the results and delivering verified credit risk metrics in a compliant manner. The solution takes centre stage in making Rabobank a Rock Solid Bank by enabling consistent credit risk metrics for COREP, FINREP, Stress Testing & EBA reporting.

The area where you will be working consists of several squads building Rabobank group wide solutions with key focus to industrialise credit risk models, enforce data governance & implement underlying data landscape.

You will do so in close cooperation with the teams for whole Rabobank group implying that you will interact with a large stakeholder field ranging from our Wholesale, Rural, Retail NL business lines as well as with our subsidiaries e.g. DLL, Vista and Obvion for which we service group wide solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing the architecture and roadmap for the Model Orchestration Platform aka nBIF platform.
  • Mentoring and coaching squads across Rabobank groups in their journey to nBIF.
  • Keeping up to date with technical developments and maintaining a strong network in the market (vendors, competitors, fintechs, big techs, research and consultancy firms).
  • Be in control of risk, compliance and security aspects of the solutions designed by you and built by the teams.

You and your talent

  • Architectural Experience: 3-7 years of architectural experience in large and complex environments.
  • Digital Transformation: Minimum 3 years of experience in digital transformation initiatives, preferably utilizing public cloud platforms, with a focus on Azure.
  • Data Solution Building: A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and building Data as a Service (DaaS) solutions.
  • Regulatory/Banking Background: Prior experience in a regulated or banking environment.
  • Credit Risk Expertise: Knowledge or experience in Credit Risk is a significant advantage.
  • Problem Solving: Strong aptitude for complex problem-solving.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including storytelling and strong communication abilities.
  • Decision-Making: Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities, complemented by negotiation and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership: Proficiency in coaching, leadership, and fostering collaboration within teams.
  • Organizational Sensitivity: Effective networking skills with organizational sensitivity.

This is what we offer you

  • a gross monthly salary between €4.718 and €6.741,- (scale 10, 36 hours per week).
  • 13th month and holiday pay: as of January 1, 2023, the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
  • an Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
  • an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
  • a monthly € 40,- net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
  • a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
  • Attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
