Scrum Master 

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, solid and pragmatic Scrum Master who would like to work in a
challenging and international environment to enable the bank in providing relevant financial
services to our clients.

You and your job
You will be a part of Tribe External Reporting. The Area W&R/Treasury contributes to Statistical,
Prudential, Financial, Sustainability and Transparency information (reports and datasets) for the Wholesale & Rural business of the Rabobank Globally. You will collaborate closely with the other Scrum Master in the Area.
As a Scrum Master it is important to create an environment in which people feel trusted and
develop/grow together. A Tribe where responsibilities are brought to the lowest possible level and
ensure individual-and team ownership. You ensure that nothing stands in the way of a good team delivery. You will be removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.

Practical Examples
As Scrum Master you will work closely with two squads. You are very interested in business process
and functional requirement specifications and have a pro-active and communicative
attitude on multiple levels. You will support the squads in compliance, security and reporting  deliverables.
You’ll be overseeing the activities within the squads on a daily basis, generating and improving the
way of working and collaboration between the squads striving to timely and high quality delivery.
You will drive the activities around the incident and change management and coordinating the
delivery cycle. As a Scrum Master you will be helping your colleagues to perform their general
activities by organising and leading the squads accordingly to an agile (scrum) but also pragmatic
way of working.

As a Scrum Master you can make a difference:
•    You are the first responsible for creating a collaborative and productive working atmosphere and
healthy team dynamics;
•    You coach your team members in their daily activities and your goal is to improve the team’s maturity;
•    Together with the product owner and the team you will work on planning and roadmap of
the squad activities;
•    You work together with your squads towards a timely, complete and accurate delivery of external reporting.

You and your talent
You are a pro-active team player with a strong, yet flexible mentality to get things done. You demonstrate the ability to persuade and inspire others while also having an aptitude for attentive listening and building connections. Additionally, you can lead by example while maintaining an independent stance. You are enthusiastic, empathetic, open-minded and you bring energy. You support the squads by educating them and helping them continuously improve their development process. You are self-aware; you know your unique qualities and how to use them as effectively as possible.

Required knowledge and experience:
•    Educated at University level/Bachelors or Master’s degree;
•    You are an experienced certified (PSM1/PSM2) Scrum Master, with at least 3 years of proven experience;
•    You have experience in coaching and guiding high performance multicultural squads;
•    You have experience effectively intervening in both individual and group settings to bring teams to a higher maturity level;
•    You are familiar with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and solid development practices;
•    Proven experience with SAFe and/or LeSS so you can help us implement Scaled Agile in practice;
•    You have excellent communication and mentoring skills, and you focus on the scrum values of openness, honesty and respect;
•    You master the English language. Speaking Dutch is an advantage.

Key advantages to the role:
•    Experience with Azure DevOps;
•    You have preferably worked for a financial institution or in a financial environment;
•    Experience with innovation teams (project management).

•    A monthly home working allowance of up to € 40,-
