ESG? Environmental Social and Governance. Environmental and climate risks impact us all and sustainability brings huge challenges. Acute physical risks such as flooding and drought, chronic physical risks like global warming as well as transformational risks. We are responsible to embed these ESG risks throughout our Credit Cycle to serve our clients and business units globally. For our squads Geospatial Data and Energy Label Data we seek several Senior Business Analysts (scale 8, 9 and 10) … will you take on the challenge and join us realizing our sustainability goals?

You and your job

You as a Senior Business Analyst will make the difference, you will take ownership of our ESG journey with focus on Geospatial Data and Energy Data related topics. You will define the business requirements and translate them into workpackages for our Business Units globally.

This is familiar territory for you (must have):

  • Strong ambition and will to master ESG and Climate risks knowledge;
  • Operate in a complex stakeholder landscape;
  • Result driven and focussing on the outcome;
  • Strong analytical skills to translate Regulations into standards and requirements;
  • Strong affinity with or demonstrable experienced in the field of Data analytics or processing;
  • (Basic) Knowledge of the Credit Risk domain and experience with data consumers (e.g. Credit Analytics);
  • Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing).

It would be really great if:

  • You already have in depth expertise of Credit Risk or the ESG domain, regulations and (data) vendors;
  • Knowledge about Geographical data and/or Energy data;
  • (Basic) Knowledge of IT/data architectures and IT landscape;
  • You have a background in Data analytics, -processing and -transformations;
  • Experience with Agile way of working and familiar with the rituals;
  • You are fluent in Dutch also.

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Gather requirements on geo- and energy related data across the bank as contributors, to well manage the banks and customers risks on ESG.
  • You can analyse these requirement and gather the necessary information, which you can translate into workable documents or presentations.
  • Align with your peers across the bank on the topics of geo- and energy data to make sure all requirements are covered and your solutions are fit for purpose.

Our ESG risk journey is not a clearly worked out path to follow. ESG regulations, challenges and developments are continuously changing very fast. Our challenge together is to deal with this and together we will. Area EARTH is part of the Tribe Credit Core and Tribe Credit Core delivers centrally managed group functionality such that Business Units can optimally perform their end-to-end credit process. We monitor quality of data and portfolios providing insight to continuously improve the end-to-end credit process. We increase trust from the regulator and from the public and we achieve uniformity, simplification and efficiency in the Credit Journey within the bank. ESG risks are an integral part of that end-to-end credit process.

The goals of the Geospatial Data and Energy Label Data squad are:

  • Deliver the right Work Package at the right time to the business units on the end-to-end process to gather energy information for Residential Real Estate and Commercial Real Estate portfolio and Location data for rural clients with material portfolios in areas with elevated physical risks.
  • Ensure both our data consumers (e.g. Credit Analytics, Finance, Portfolio management) and our data producers (W&R, DRB, DLL and FR&R) are represented and included in the creation of the work packages.
  • Create the building blocks across the group so we can implement the end-to-end process for collecting and using Geospatial and Label Data for all business lending activities.

This is what we offer you

  • a gross monthly salary between € 4.068,- and € 5.811,- (scale 9, 36 hours).
  • 13th month and holiday pay: the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
  • an Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
  • an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
  • a monthly € 40,- net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
  • a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
  • Attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
