BI Translator Financial & Economic Crime (FEC)

You will get a responsibility with impact, one you will shape as BI Translator through the realisation of crucial information products. Your position finds itself in an environment which helps to create insights into all the spearpoints of the bank such as digitalisation, FEC (Financial & Economic Crime), KYC (Know your Customer), and delivering accessibility for both the central bank and local banks. All these responsibilities contribute to the decision-making process up to the highest level in the bank.

You and your job
You are the linking pin between global business partners and IT, in this case specifically for FEC/KYC. You will gather and translate business requirements to technical requirements to ensure that together with the developers we can build and deliver  the best information product. This information product is used by 5000+ colleagues within Rabobank to prevent criminal activities.

There are several teams working on KYC and FEC, together we help reducing criminal activities and can be regarded as the gatekeepers of the financial system. You will be part of a team that consists of analyst and developers. The work environment is dynamic and international.  We are all very collegial and results driven!

PracticalExamples

• Development of an application which provides KYC analysts of the correct customer data to do their analysis, and implementation of new successful features for Transaction Monitoring through our applications.
• Using Power BI to provide business insights in possible compliancy risks.
• Building a custom web application which checks feasibility of proposed large commodity financing deals.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Work together with the business to understand their requests, define clear arguments and  translate these to technical and viable requirements.
• Analyse (the impact of) new information products and translate this into technical solutions that developers can work on.
• Coordinating team projects and determine together  what kind of functional requirements and business rules are needed for the requests of the business.

You and your talent

• Bachelor or master degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge in Power BI, DAX, T-SQL.
• Familiar with Devops, Agile, Scrum and Azure.
• Good networking, communication and digital collaboration skills.
• Able to understand business needs and IT possibilities.

This is what we offer you

• Between € 3711 and €5300 gross per month based on a 36 hour work week (scale 8) or scale 9 (€ 4292 - € 6130), depending on your experience.
• An extra budget of 10% (scale 8) or 11% (scale 9) of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
• An OV-business card or fixed monthly travel allowance.
• Hybrid working: we work 1 or 2 days a week from the office.
• A personal development budget of €1400.
