As an IT Business Analyst you’ll enter the world of FEC. As Tech4FEC Tribe (>600 IT specialists) we facilitate all kinds of FEC Monitoring (Fraud, AML, Sanction, CDD) for all our Rabobank offices globally.

Transactions continue 24/7 and we need to be able to monitor these at all times. We do this with realising new-  and keep on running current functionality in our applications using modern state-of-the-art techniques.

Becoming a Financial Crime specialist you’ll learn and understand a criminal or fraudster and you’ll get to learn the details of our FEC Monitoring applications to prevent our clients and Rabobank against FEC and Fraud risks.

You will be working in a dynamic, innovative and complex landscape, where interacting with cross domain stakeholders and consumers is the key to success. Our Virtual Channel Monitoring team is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with passion to Fight Economic Crime with the use of Data.

Your responsibilities

  • Organize conversations with customers to analyse, structure and document requirements. Here you closely collaborate with the Product Owner and Team to determine the functional and technical scope of new system and data deliveries
  • Draw out functional & technical requirements for design and testing of data and model pipelines
  • Setting up test plans, performing functional tests, investigate issues and support with implementations
  • Performing impact analyses and drafting High Level Solutions in consultation within the Team, cross-functional stakeholders across teams together with Engineers and Solution Architects
  • Set up & maintain robust documentation per model put into production and operations
  • Close cooperation with the Product Owner in defining backlog topics
  • Working as part of the DevOps team using Scrum

Customer focus, collaboration, attention to detail, innovation, self-development and open communication are indispensable for this position. On top of that, it is important that you recognize yourself in the checklist below:

  • Bachelor / Master in Information science / Computer science or any quantitative field.
  • You have at least 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Conceptual thinking and translating this into practice
  • Sparring partner for the Product Owner, fellow business analysts and the team members
  • Knowledge and experience with configurating (and testing) complex (competitive market standard) applications (preferably RiskShield).
  • Knowledge and experience with defining and describing User Stories, requirements analyses.
  • Understand complex business problems, identify business/functional requirements, and recommend how best to support them through processes and systems
  • You are also capable to take over basic activities of your colleague DevOps (Scrum)-team members
  • Knowledge and experience with data analyses and models
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile / Scrum / DevOps way of working
  • Knowledge and experience with common Integration technologies like, API’s, Kafka, Message schema’s (JSON, AVRO, YAML)
  • Experience in managing a complex stakeholder environment
  • You are functionally strong and very analytical, data scientist/engineering affinity
  • As team player you need to be flexible, curious, investigative and you’re not afraid to take ownership
  • Knowledge of the Banking Domain, financial products and business processes
  • A plus would be if you:
    • Have development and coding experience (e.g. Java, R, Python, Yaml).
    • Can work on a Linux OS and Oracle database.
    • Knowledge of Azure Devops tooling and pipelines.
    • Experience with AWS is a pre

This is what we offer you

  • up to € 5811,- salary per month, 36 hour working week
  • A thirteenth month and 8% holiday pay.
