Azure DevOps Engineer - IAM Orchistration

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with at least 2 years of experience of working with AWS, who values standards and have proactive attitude towards automation, testing and security. You have experience in working in Agile teams (Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework). As part of your responsibilities, you will be developing API’s to encourage automation within IAM, maintaining and improving the team code base, and helping customers (business & development teams) onboard.

You should be experienced in Python, be familiar with testing best-practices, experience with API’s , orchestration skills and able to not only build standard solutions (bring code modularity, reuse, structure and standards), but to be able to explain these to non-technical people as well.

Next to the developer mindset you should also have a growth mindset (self-learner, ready to pick up new things when required) and preferably having worked in an enterprise before.

Who we are:

You will be joining the IAM Orchestration team, which is positioned within IAM to automate everything through the use of API’s. It is a fast-moving team, that currently consists of 3 engineers and 1 business analysts. The need for automation within the department is picking up, hence the search for a new colleague.

You will be working together with this team to come up with solutions to the use cases that present themselves not only from within the department, but outside of the department as well that require the services of IAM. The solutions created need to be usable, resilient, scalable and secure, and you think customer first. And there is more:

You and your talent

Must have skills

• Solid grasp of AWS
• Proficiency in Python (including testing best-practices)
• Thorough understanding of APIs
• Sound knowledge of DevOps
• Effective problem-solving abilities

Nice to have Skills

• Comfortable and adept with explaining technical concepts to non-technical people
• IAM experience
• Enterprise experience

This is what we offer you

• a monthly salary between €3.179,- and €4.540 (based on 36, scale 7).
• 13th month and holiday pay: the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
