You and your job
You design, develop and maintain a key element in the payments infrastructure serving businesses and customers. As Software Engineer you create the services that merchants need to operate in a highly dynamic payments world.  Merchants who want provide their customers the smoothest of payment experiences, whether it is in their web shops or their shops downtown or in the mall. Merchants that need instant insight in their business at any moment, and be able to adapt their payments services quickly. You work in a DevOps team, you create and run it together.

What you will be working on

• Creating a seamless online checkout in every web shop
• An Azure cloud based application that consists of micro-services and integrates with other applications developed by other teams. Your work will be critical in ensuring that we create effective and efficient solutions that meet our clients' needs.
• Identifying and managing dependencies and risks. You'll be a key player in ensuring that we deliver our products and services according to all the security and compliancy guidelines.
• Participating proactively in team decisions and challenging your team members on presented solutions.
• You will facilitate and lead cross-team alignment to work towards successful delivery of products

You and your talent

• Skilled in JAVA/Kotlin, Azure, Spring boot, SQL and JSON with around 7 years of experience.
• Experience in or affinity with software development in the financial sector, the payment sector in particular;
• As a member of our team, you’ll feel responsible for the quality of the software you deliver. Not only in development- and test environments but until and including production.
• CI/CD pipelines in Azure, test automation, unit testing and integration testing with other applications or services is part of your second nature. You are always looking for ways to improve the code, performance, stability and security of our applications.
• You are able to translate the requirements into user stories that drive results. You'll use your analytical skills to uncover new insights and create effective solutions that solve complex challenges.
• Experience working in agile environments, including DevOps and Agile/SCRUM methodologies. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires flexibility and collaboration.
• A constructive and flexible mindset with a drive to achieve results. You'll take ownership of your work and be motivated to contribute to our team's success.

This is what we offer you

• a gross monthly salary between € 4.292,- and € 6.130,- (scale 9, 36 hours per week).
• 13th month and holiday pay: the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
• an Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
• an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
• 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
• a monthly € 40,- net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
• a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
