You & your job
As business architect in the CHRO architecture domain, your main focus will be on Identity and Access Management within the Tribe IAM. This tribe focuses on the IAM theme.  IAM is an enabler for the organization to “do work” and realize value in the bank. Enabling employees and machines, and secure and compliant access to the right resources is the value IAM provides. As IAM we support Employee and Engineering friendly journeys where IAM is seamless and invisible where possible.

IAM must make sure that only the needed access is made available (“leased privilege”) to employees and machines and the way access is unlocked is based on strong authentication. Next to that IAM must be “in control” making sure Rabobank is a trustworthy financial service provider.  In control is the ability to direct, correct, have insight and oversight on processes that lead to changes in secure access

Furthermore you will be focussing on some cross (sub)domain challenges together with your colleague Business Architects in CHRO and EET who are covering the areas of Facilities, Human Resources, Digital Workplace, Engineering Platforms, Integration, Tech4Development, Tech4Operations, Networking, Database Technology, Thread Intelligence and SOC. Working together with your peers cross-domain is of utmost importance to create seamless employee and engineering journeys. Last but not least you will be expected to regularly coach others and receive coaching from others as part of a team that endeavours to continuously improve and be ready for what is coming.

Key responsibilities

In CHRO we expect our architects to divide their time equally over 3 main responsibilities:

  • You will support both CHRO Business and Tech upon request
  • You will focus on the future state of CHRO by providing both solicited and unsolicited architectural advice about people, processes, data, and technology.
  • You will keep a tidy architectural administration to ensure we can look forward with ease, and backward when requested

Together we achieve more than alone

Rabobank is a Dutch bank that operates in 38 countries for over 9.500.000 customers. Together with these customers, our members, and partners, we stand side by side to create a world in which everyone can achieve long-term financial sustainability. In the Netherlands we work to create a country in which people are happy with how they live, work, and do business.

We at the Rabobank believe in the power of difference. Bringing together people's differences is what makes us an even better bank. We already do so with more than 48.000 colleagues. We are however very curious about what you can bring to the Rabobank and our team at the architecture department specifically.

The more than 100 people in the architecture department are responsible for the development, maintenance, and enforcement of the IT strategy and architecture of Rabobank, to realize an effective long-term direction for IT in support of the bank’s strategy – in commercial, efficiency and risk perspective.
