Solution Architect Foundation and IT4ops

As a Solution Architect Foundation and IT4OPS you are responsible for the quality of technical designs, realized solutions and the data architecture of the area foundation and IT4OPS. Your knowledge will however be used throughout the entire tribe Digital Customer interactions (DCI). The tribe, or department, is amongst other owner of CRM, marketing and all customer interactions.

Within the Area of foundation and IT4OPS we manage a large number of SAAS cloud systems where you are leading in designing security and taking along the squads for implementation.
You will be a linking pin between the area architect and the squads, alignment, initiative and communication are key.

You will be using cutting edge technologies and have the opportunity to lay the foundation and vision on SAAS solutions used to optimize the customer experience for all the banks digital customer interactions.

• Translate business requirements into a technical design that fits into the (enterprise) architecture
• Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of technical designs and realized solutions
• Guarantee the usability of the products by ensuring the following points: quality, performance, availability, scalability, security, privacy, integrity and accessibility
• Advocate the capabilities that your squads deliver in supporting other squads within the tribe
• Pro-actively monitor market developments
• Align with the colleagues from the Enterprise Data Lake

You and your talent

You are a person who likes a challenge and doesn’t mind to build something from scratch. Obviously you are customer focused, independent, a conceptual thinker, self starter, analytical skilled, but also a team player and transparent in your communication. In addition, it's important that you recognize everything in the following:

• Academic level
• Knowledge and experience with digital platforms and Saas solutions (like Pega)
• Understand technologies used within IT Rabobank, eg Azure cloud and  Azure DevOps
• Knowledge on creating usable data products out of large amounts of data and sources
• It would be a great benefit if you have hands-on experience with developing SAAS driven solutions. By knowing how to do the ground work, we know you can communicate in the same language as the teams you are going to support
• Practical experience with architecture methods and techniques (e.g. Archimate, DYA, TOGAF)
• Knowledge/experience with designing cloud native solutions (preferably on Azure)
• You are familiar with the rituals of Agile / Scrum
• Good command of English (business level)
• You are not afraid to voice your professional opinion and have an open view on the future 
• You see what needs to be done and take initiative to make sure items get moving and issues resolved.
