You and your job
As a Medior Investment Manager you will be able to develop yourself to a leading investment professional. You will be working in a competitive and dynamic international environment with professional clients doing market leading strategic investments. Together with the Senior Investment Manager you are involved in sourcing, structuring and managing private debt investments. Ensuring full alignment of the business with investors interests and risk appetite whilst being in control and compliant.

Inspirational practical examples

• Be a leader in (re)structuring Private Debt facilities & deal management processes, having start-to-finish responsibility for the overall transactions and clients under your care or together with the Senior Investment Manager;
• In an internationally dynamic deal environment you will be, in direct contact with business clients, leading Private Equity investors and professional advisors, directly contributing to the investment result;
• Be part of an ambitious venture to become a leading Private Debt investment management firm. Directly contribute to this ambition by supporting the management team in acquiring and building relations with professional investors & development of new investment strategies/solutions.

The big picture

At Colesco investing starts with our sustainability mindset with the aim to support clients with an ambitious ESG strategies. As part of the investment team. you proactively identify, source and structure potential private debt investment opportunities. You conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, which involves financial modelling, sustainability and risk analysis, and legal reviews. You are able to build an independent investment thesis within a  short times frame,. When it comes to executing private debt transactions, you take a lead role, negotiating terms and coordinating with legal counsel. Staying ahead of market trends and developments in private debt is crucial, and you play an active role in monitoring these changes. Maintaining strong relationships with borrowers, intermediaries, and other stakeholders in the private debt market is essential for our success. Lastly as caretaker of our institutional investor client’s capital  part of your role alongside the Senior Investment Manager, you oversee and manage a portfolio of private debt investments, ensuring compliance with investment mandates and risk parameters.This is how you share your talent for 40 of hours a week as Medior Investment Manager at Colesco.

You and your talent

• A Masters degree or equivalent (strong GPA), CFA/VBA is a pre;  
• 4+ years of relevant and current working experience in e.g. asset management, strategy consultancy, accountancy, investment banking/private equity, leveraged lending or a transaction oriented legal practice;
• A legal background, current experience and knowledge of drafting and negotiating finance documents for unitranche and structured financing solutions;
• Strong modeling, presentation and data management/analytical skills with attention to detail;
• Fluent in written and spoken English, any additional language is a pre;
• You are focused on learning and contributing to the continuous improvement of the investment team;
• High ambition and an open/entrepreneurial mindset;
• Strong negotiation (including reviewing and negotiating complex loan agreements and related legal documents) and communication skills;
• Team player with ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

This is what we offer you

• up to € 8.119,- gross per month (scale 10);
• thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance;
• an extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
