You and your future

During the Advanced Analytics Young Professional Program you are going to develop your career over 18 months by becoming an expert in your field. Throughout the program you will stay in one team and receive training to further develop your hard skills. You will get a buddy who guides you in finding your way within the bank. In the field of your personal development, you and your fellow starters follow the Pioneer Program and you will receive 1-on-1 coaching from your talent manager. We prepare you for your own personal success!  

In this program, you will be in charge of your career and your own learning curve. Rabobank helps you on your way and supports you to grow by motivating you to step out of your comfort zone.  

Embrace the challenge of handling extensive data and create a tangible impact as a Data Scientist in the External Fraud Area. Our team identifies payment fraud by providing 24/7 real-time monitoring of financial transactions and client behaviour. Through digitization and innovation, we safeguard society, customers, and the bank.

You and your team able to stop customers from losing their money to fraudsters by leveraging the capabilities of programming languages to extract valuable insights from millions of daily transactions. You position yourself as a trailblazer in detecting fraudulent activities and upholding the integrity of global financial transactions.

• Assessing or devising new (cyber)crime attack methods;
• Applying AI and Machine Learning for (fraud) detection and prevention;
• 2 business challenges within the Advanced Analytics Young Professional Program

Practical

• The duration of the program: 18 months.  
• The start date: October 1, 2024.  
• 40 Hours workweek. About 10-15% of your weekly working time is spent on personal development, training and other activities. The other hours are spent working within your team.  
• Every Friday afternoon is Advanced Analytics Professional Afternoon at the office!

You and your talent

• At the start of the program, you`ve obtained a master's degree or a doctorate in Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering or another STEM background.  
• Approximately 0-2 years of work experience. 
• Currently living in the Netherlands. 
• Experience with at least 1 programming language such as Python, R, java, etc.
• Knowledge in the field of statistics and data modelling.
• Interest in algorithms, logic, AI, data modeling, machine learning, language technology, etc.;
• An excellent command of the English language. 

This is what we offer you

• A salary of € 3.791,07 gross per month (scale 7). 
• A 13th month's salary and vacation pay. 
• An Employee Benefit Budget (10% of your monthly salary). Employees may use this budget at their own discretion, for example, the EBB can be used to buy extra vacation days or to make an additional deposit in your retirement fund. Employees can also opt to have the EBB paid out to them as part of their monthly salary.  
• A personal budget that you can spend on activities related to your personal development and career. 
• A combination of working from home and from the office.
