You and your future
During the Young Engineering Professional Program (also known as YEPP) at Rabobank you work on your career one day a week by following a technical track, or you work on your personal development. You develop talents you didn’t know you had and we are given the space to discover for yourself what you are good at and what you like. And then? Everything you learn in the training courses can immediately be put into practice, because the other 4 days you work in your starter position as a Junior DevOps Engineer (Security Engineer Cloud Platforms).
Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will become a specialist in your field in no time. In addition, in the program you will work together with the team on 2 business challenges on themes such as sustainable agriculture or the cooperative energy transition.
You’ll be part of the tech4engineering domain at Rabobank. Our domain offers comprehensive IT services to all Rabobank squads. Specifically, you’ll be working within Tech4Ops, which focuses on (security) logging and monitoring. Our services encompass application monitoring as well as security detections through SIEM (Security Information and Event Management).
Examples
- Design, implement and maintain multi-Cloud monitoring solutions.
- Design, implement and maintain IAM model for our Cloud solutions.
- Implementing Standard and reusable pipelines to automate our workflows and that of other Squads in Tech4Ops
- FinOps: Make sure we use our SIEM and Cloud environment as effective and efficient as possible, both from cost and sustainability perspective.

Your development
To become the specialist in your professional field, in the Young Engineering Professional Program 1 day a week you mainly attend training courses that that support your talent development. The courses are often given by experienced colleagues or trainers with a track record. You build your network, gain valuable experience and develop skills which will be of use to you later in your career.

You and your talent
- a bachelor or master degree, or an equivalent working / thinking level
- affinity with software development, and already some experience with the programming language Python and Azure (Sentinel)
- excellent proficiency in English
