FEC W&R Operations Analyst

Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Wholesale & Rural (W&R) Operations is responsible for the operational management of FEC within the Global Regions where Rabobank is active, including Europe, North America, South America, Australia & New Zealand and Asia. With approx. 750 FTE across the five regions, effective operational management is a critical component of our FEC Risk & Control framework. This requires central oversight in order to maintain an effective and efficient FEC workforce.

As FEC W&R Operations Analyst, you will play a central role in driving the oversight and management of the FEC W&R domain together with the Regional Heads of FEC and their respective departments. You will be part of team that is the linking pin between the Regions & the Global FEC Pillars of CDD, TM & Sanctions and you will help to steer the day-to-day operational management of FEC activities in the Regions.  

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting up and managing the central operational steering unit team that oversees the five FEC W&R regions; 
• Drives standardization and simplification initiatives globally in the regions;
• Harmonizes the FEC Ops Portfolio Management across the regions, including working stock, workload management, productivity management, peak management, etc;
• Creates central oversight on planning & resource/ capacity management;
• Steer on KPIs & KRIs on turnaround, backlog to enable data-driven decision-making at central level (MI);
• Set-up and steer on FEC W&R operations strategy, planning, and continuous improvement;
• Establishes structures to align with Operations teams in the E2E CDD, TM and Sanctions pillars;
• Combines all the above into the creation and execution of a FEC W&R Operational Management Vision & Strategy

Commitment to continuously delivering high quality in your work and being stress resistant are among your strengths. In addition, it is important that you recognize yourself in the below:

• Academic education / level of thinking and working with at least 6 years related experience in Operations and preferably 2/3 years of experience within FEC in the financial services industry; Experience with (FEC) Operational management, preferably in a global environment;
• Influencing skills at the highest level: interaction with (senior) stakeholders mainly aimed at challenging, influencing, developing and motivating employees and changing behaviour.
• Adaptive thinking challenge is required, concerned with analytical and evaluative thinking. Good interpersonal and informal skills as well as a good negotiating capacity;
• Solid, independent judgement and resilience;
• Proficiency in English (and preferably Dutch) (oral and written)

• € 4.292,40 - € 7.307,58 gross monthly salary (scale 9/10), depending on experience and expertise.
• An Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash payout.
• A thirteenth month and holiday pay.
• Flexible working times and location-independent working (within the Netherlands).
