Rabobank is looking for a Tech Lead / IT Lead, with proven experience in leading in complex environments. In this role you are primarily responsible for leading several squads in our Area Online Access Management, responsible for the Authentication of the Rabobank app and Website.

Role

As a Tech Lead you are primarily managerial and integrally responsible for IT Delivery :  good performing squads, hiring good people and a robust production process. Aspects such as performance and compliance in the context of standards, information security and risk are important in this respect. Your squads are responsible for both Change and run or better: DevSecOps.

Digital Platform

Within the CITO division Retail NL Tech, the domain Digital Platform is the main driver behind the digital experience of our 7 million customers and enabler of the most strategic objectives of Rabobank.

Within Tribe Digital Platform, our squads work on a digital platform that provides the frameworks and tools for over 200 teams that build our modern digital experience, while ensuring the highest standards for quality, performance, and security.

As Online Access Management we are responsible for the Authentication and Authorisation functionality both in the app and on the website. It’s about : Are you the person that you say you are and if so what are you allowed to do/see. Think about Logon and Signing functionality, Access Code, QR code, Tin Bio, face ID and all sorts of authorisations including Power of attorney. The squads are not only responsible for this functionality in the application but also for the quality, performance, security and compliance of these services.

Profile

As Tech Lead you have a high tech savviness in the field of software development, security and performance. You are experienced in the agile way of working, understand the risk & compliance needs of a bank, and possess a broad interest and opinion on IT trends. You are a self-starter who can take ownership and has intrinsic motivation. You are experienced in hiring the right engineers and work with squads directly to make a positive impact for our customers.  

The Tech Lead we are looking for is a people-oriented collaborator. You are customer-oriented and inspiring. You create positive impact. In addition, it is important that you have the following characteristics: 

  • Academic working and thinking level; 
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within complex IT environments; 
  • Affinity with CIAM is a must
  • Accustomed and comfortable with a “span of control” of approximately 20-30 employees; 
  • Knowledge of and experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile; 
  • You have achieved demonstrable results by guiding DevOps teams towards autonomy and a high level of performance; 
  • Demonstrable affinity and passion for digitization and Cloud technology; 
  • Mastery of the English language (business level, writing and speaking); 
  • You take on a pivotal role by weighing interests and risks together with the business. 
  • You keep your back straight in difficult discussions;

Up to € 130.000,00 - salary per year including all benefits, based on knowledge and experience for a 40-hour work week (mid scale 11).
