The FEC Center W&R is set up to support the work of the Wholesale & Rural (W&R) FEC triangle of Business, Compliance and Operations with strong operational oversight, steering, ongoing standardization and striving for excellence in the W&R regions and business units.
Key objective is to support the W&R regions and business lines to ensure full compliance with all applicable FEC standards and continuous enhancement of the FEC controls in line with regulatory developments. Particularly in the Global Quality Team within Transaction Monitoring, the Wholesale & Rural FEC Operations Centre is looking to expand.
As a Quality Checker (QC) W&R within the Global Quality Team, your role will be to further strengthen the transaction monitoring knowledge, quality and skills across the W&R regions. You will work in a dynamic environment together with the different regions, so agility, strong communication and learning ability are key.”
Making the difference
- Being part of a core, quality assurance team made up of senior Transaction Monitoring Experts
- Reviewing transaction monitoring (TM) alert analyses and narratives of TM analysts who work Globally within W&R
- Provide feedback to the TM analysts and coach them to enhance the quality of the TM alerts
- Maintaining a close relationship with several internal stakeholders - in particular the TM teams across the W&R regions and local and FLM (First line monitoring).
- Identifying (and where possible, developing) measures to improve the quality of alert handling
- Managing and monitoring our KPI’s timely and accurately in order to achieve our goals.

You can make the highest impact if you are analytical, flexible and results orientated. In addition, it is important that you recognize yourself in the following:
- Higher vocational or Academic level education, preferably in Finance, Economics, Law or Business Administration and 3 to 5 years’ experience in a financial institution or international company, preferably within the FEC related fields and/or Wholesale business.
- Understanding of Financial Economic Crime in general and Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing in particular. Ideally a solid knowledge and understanding of the Rabobank Wholesale and Rural regions, products and ways of working.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in FEC Transaction Monitoring quality assurance and/or file review. Ability to write factual, concise and detailed feedback reports.
- Positive attitude and the ability to coach and train TM analysts. Self-motivated and the ability to work independently.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

This is what we offer you
- A gross monthly salary between € 4.292,40 and € 6.130,64 (scale 9); based on knowledge and experience
- thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
- an extra budget of 11% of your gross monthly salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
