As an Operations Control Officer in the Global Service Center Operations Control & Services team, you focus on managing and improving our day to day tasks and processes with regards to reconciliations. You do so by executing a range of controls, investigating root causes and ensuring that mismatches are assigned to and resolved by the relevant departments timely. Reconciling, investigating and processing all fee payments outstanding and executing the payments on a regular basis.
The Global Service Centre is responsible for the Wholesale back-office activities of the Bank. A dynamic and challenging environment in an international setting where the largest clients of the bank are served under ever increasing scrutiny from regulators. A combined team of more than 650 colleagues, across London, Dublin, and Utrecht.

As a Medior Control Officer you can make a difference. Through your expert knowledge you ensure our role as a gatekeeper for all our controls within the OC&S/Reconciliations. Attention to detail and criticism should be in your DNA. You are curious and will get to the bottom of the issues. Take ownership to solve problems and bring creative solutions to changes. Analyze our processes and make implementations to become better and faster with less manual work. You will be able to develop, build and implement solutions and improvements yourself. You keep processes up to date, make sure that all work instructions are up to date and correctly modeled conform the Rabobank conventions. In your role as Medior Control Officer you will grow as a professional.

The teams executes a wide range of reconciliations for the Rabobank Group worldwide and investigate the root causes of differences stemming from these reconciliations. The department has a well-established and strong position within Operations WR.

Within Operations Control and Services/Reconciliations, 20 people are working together to reconcile the settlements and bookings of daily transactions with agent banks, counter parties, and custodians. In addition, reconcile internal trades as well as trades that were booked/executed via various internal systems. We are responsible for investigating the root causes of breaks and ensuring that these breaks are resolved by us or the relevant departments. In addition, we manage the incoming and outgoing claims from/to counterparties. Working together is the way we work; as 1 results-driven/problem-solving/focused/analytical/expert/Negotiating and Networking team at Rabobank. You and your talent
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent command of the English language
- Financial Market Knowledge
- Risk awareness
- Resilience, able to perform effectively under time pressure, also, when facing setbacks
- Team player with flexible skills
- Pro-active, hands-on mentality and open to learn new things
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Preferable Green Belt certified and knowledge of Power BI
This is what we offer you
- A salary between €3.179,19 and €4.540,36 on the basis 36 hours a week (scale 7)
- Thirteenth month’s salary and 8% holiday allowance
- An extra budget of 10% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
- A budget of € 750- to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40-
- A combination of working from home and at the office
