You and your job

Picture yourself at the heart of a dynamic, ever-evolving CDD landscape within the Area of CDD RNL Detection, part of the Tribe FEC Tech. Are you ready to help protect the bank and our customers worldwide from the negative effects of financial crime?

As a Risk Detection Expert CDD, together with your squad, you are responsible for the Risk Detection Tool, the RDT. This tool is used for all Wwft-eligible customers in the Retail NL portfolio and provides a risk rating to indicate the need for enhanced due diligence.

Your mission? As a CDD Risk Detection Expert you engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify legal and business requirements to accurately detect Financial Economic Crime, in order to automate and optimize the Risk Detection Tool.

Practical Examples

• Translating policy requirements to suitable implementations in the RDT model
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders both within and outside the Tribe FEC Tech such as Policy, Compliance, Operations and IT to ensure effective management of requirements
• Being involved in the optimization of the Risk Detection Tool by focusing on increasing automation and improving model user satisfaction

Top 3 responsibilities

• Ensure that the requirements of stakeholders (such as Policy, Compliance and Operations) and CDD-policies are translated into appropriate and feasible model solutions and incorporated efficiently
• Work on proposals and seek innovate solutions to improve CDD risk assessment and classification of 10 million customers on a weekly basis
• Act as an Expert who provides vision and direction of solution to the developers and stakeholders

You and your talent

Having customer focus, strong analytical skills and stakeholder management capabilities and being pro-active and solution-oriented,  is essential for the role of Risk Detection Expert CDD NL. In addition, it is important that you recognize the requirements in the list below:

• Academic background/level
• Strong knowledge of Compliance or Financial Crime topics relevant for FEC
• At least 3 years of experience withing the CDD domain and/or (inter)national risk and regulatory domains. For example gained as a CDD Analyst / Specialist (senior), or Compliance / Monitoring Specialist
• Affinity for complex assignments in a changing environment
• The ability to manage stakeholders from various seniority levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
• Customer-oriented, analytical, decisive and independent
• Demonstrable ability to act independently and achieve improvements
• Preference will be given to candidates who speak Dutch
• Affinity with IT and data science (optional)

This is what we offer you

• A gross monthly salary between €3.711 and €7.307 (scale 8 - 10), depending on work experience and skills
• An extra budget of 10 or 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion (this enables you to buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out)
• Thirteenth month salary and 8 or 9 % holiday allowance
