(Senior) Expert FEC W&R Business Advisory

You and your job
FEC Business Advisory (BA) is responsible as the primary FEC point of contact towards the global business domains and the subsidiaries. Through three dedicated Business Advisory departments for Retail, W&R and Subsidiaries, BA facilitates the business domains and subsidiaries through an integrated FEC approach. Intricate business knowledge and FEC expertise are combined in advising the different global FEC departments vis à vis the business domains and subsidiaries, and vice versa. BA is supported by a BA Business Analysis and Risk Mitigation team.
Rabobank and FEC operate in a quickly changing international FEC landscape that can have a major impact on the global clients we service and the way Rabobank operates. Potential Risks can surface as a result of the annual SIRA, risk assessments, requests from regulators, findings, geopolitical changes and for instance the media. These risks are assessed, discussed with stakeholders and actions are determined to remedy these risks.
In addition W&R Business Advisory supports risk appetite discussions, supports sanction implementation, participates in client committees, advises on FEC Risk profiles and last but not least aims to improve the overall FEC Customer Journey.
But foremost we advise both FEC and the Business in finding acceptable and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities
- The day-to-day identification and analysis of risk and determine with your colleagues what the appropriate action is.
- You will need to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders (e.g., Business, FEC, Compliance, Operations) within the organization, located both in head office (Utrecht) and the W&R offices around the world.
- You will co-operate with your team on a variety of projects.
- You will participate in strategy discussions, work on strategy documents and participate in Business/FEC/FCC alignment meetings.
- Together with the wider Business Advisory team you will safeguard that FEC risks and controls are adequately integrated and monitored in the Business and its products and services and provide FEC related advice there upon.
You and your talent
- At least 5-7 years of experience in a Financial Institution (preferably within a wholesale banking environment) or Financial Authority.
- Strong affinity and/or working experience in detecting and preventing financial economic crime.
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Criminology, Economics, Law or Business Administration.
- You are eager to learn, goal oriented, but pragmatic and like to work in an international dynamic environment.
- You have excellent communication skills and are a team player.
- You combine analytic and professional judgement skills with tact and organization sensitivity.
- You are able to present the proposals in understandable language to senior management.
- Fluently English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
This is what we offer you
- € 4.292,40 - € 8.793,26 gross monthly salary (scale 9/10/11), depending on experience and expertise.
- An Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash payout.
- A thirteenth month and holiday pay.
- Flexible working times and location-independent working (within the Netherlands).
