Global Communication Advisor COO Wholesale and Rural

As a Communication Advisor you are taking the lead in communicating strategic directions clearly towards your department, stakeholders in the business and the International IT and Operations environment.

You and your job

As a Global Communication Advisor in our team you will be part of the COO W&R Business Management team, you advise and support on strategic communication matters and support the COO MT with practical needs where required. In addition, you will pick up a broader range of business management activities where required.

Practical Examples

• Work on (other) communication related projects or the communication side of projects, such as; development of the strategic roadmap for COO W&R, One Operations, The Ministry of Common Sense; Global Mobility; Yammer. OperationEco; DigiFlashes; Ways Of Working Plan and organize COO W&R Global Townhalls and New Joiners Sessions (both content & organization)
• Maintain close contact with the relevant (global) stakeholders and other communication advisors for gathering input needed to advise to the COO W&R on matters including communication;
• Support on strategic objectives through Communications, engagement activities, and reporting requirements for example with Operational Carbon Reduction;
• Pro-active, independent and on top of strategic communication challenges - and add relevant communication topics to the agenda of the MT COO W&R Utrecht and the MT COO W&R Global.

Top 4 responsibilities

• Coordinate and align consistent communication (products and deliverables) within the COO W&R domain in Utrecht
• Act as sparring partner for Senior Management regarding internal/business communication in multiple communication disciplines;
• Identify communications and strategic improvement opportunities and convert your advice into practical and concrete deliverables;
• Contribute strategically to build roadmaps and design & communicate broad strategic plans (business, technology and people) for the COO W&R Domain, aligning across all regions.

You will be working in the Business Management team of the Chief Operating Officer Wholesale and Rural. This is a diverse team of six colleagues working on various topics, with different expertise and interests. What we have in common? You and your talent

• You are able to transfer complex matters into understandable communication products;
• You are a relationship builder and a connector, with experience involving stakeholders at eery (senior) level and the ability to translate needs into appropriate (communication) solutions;
• You have affinity with Wholesale & Rural Banking, IT and Operations;
• You have a Bachelor or master degree in (corporate / business) communication, PR, marketing or journalism and a minimum of five years (relevant) working experience;
• You are fluent in English, verbally and in writing;
• You have great skills in PowerPoint; video editing Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects); content creating; (Photoshop); Web design
• You like to work in a constantly changing environment.
