- Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,292 and EUR 6,131 (scale 09) for a 36 hour week

As a Senior Cloud Engineer within the Area Engineering Platforms, you can help bring about this change by:
- Development, management and maintenance of the AWS Platform for Rabobank
- Building reusable Cloud components at scale, designing solutions and making a real difference at Rabobank by contributing to the long-term goals of Engineering Platforms
- Undertaking diverse responsibilities and initiatives, full autonomy is key
- Growing your knowledge on the complete AWS Cloud technology stack (network, security, functions, containers, data, etc.)
- Alongside working with the AWS Portal, you also drive automation by utilizing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Helping DevOps squads in their journey to the Cloud
- Standby shift that will rotate within the squad

One of the goals of this tribe is to unlock 1 Million hours of coding. They do this by staying focused and always being ahead of the facts, unburdening the engineers by optimizing the engineering journey, and by introducing Managed Services.
With your talent
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer who has extensive experience in AWS services and Python programming. Next to possessing a minimum of 2 AWS certifications (Solution Architect and/or DevOps Engineer and/or Speciality AWS Certifications) you bring with you at least 4 years of experience with AWS development. You have a broad understanding of related technologies such as Kubernetes, IP networking, Linux, Azure DevOps, databases, and monitoring/logging tools.
It is logical that customer orientation, enthusiasm and an unstoppable hunger for new knowledge are indispensable for this function. In addition, it is important that you furthermore recognize everything on the checklist below:
- Cloud Security mindset
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant direction (B ICT)
- Substantive knowledge when it comes to Cloud technologies & Cloud design patterns
- Minimum of 2 AWS certifications (Solutions Architect and/or DevOps Engineer and/or Specialty AWS Certifications)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with AWS development
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Agile Way of Working (Scrum)
- Experience with developing in Python
- Experience with Program/scripting languages, other than Python
- Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes (AKS, ACI, ACR)
- DevOps practices, Git
- Cloud monitoring solutions (AWS CloudTrail, AWS CloudWatch, AWS SecurityHub)
- CI/CD: Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
- Azure DevOps
- AWS Deployment Framework, CloudFormation, IAM, Lambda
- Effective communication skills
- Good English proficiency
