- Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,115 and EUR 7,308 (scale 10) for a 36 hour week

Would you like to be the driving force behind data to identify client integrity risks at Rabobank from a Financial Economic Crime (FEC) perspective?
You will get a responsibility with impact, one you will shape as Senior Data Engineer through the realisation of crucial insights. Your position finds itself in an environment which helps to create data-driven insights into one of the spearpoints of the bank for FEC (Financial & Economic Crime). Your responsibilities contribute to the decision-making process up to the highest level in the bank.
You & your Job
As Senior Data Engineer you work in a team that is situated in a rapid changing and challenging environment (i.e. external regulatory demands, new innovations, compliance requirements). We expect you to bring your senior experience in building new data solutions together with your colleagues, that meet the needs of our stakeholders and align with the vision of our Data & Insights Area within FEC Tech.
There are several teams working within FEC, together we help reducing criminal activities and can be regarded as the gatekeepers of the financial system. You will be part of a team that consists of analysts and engineers. The work environment is dynamic and international.
Practical example
A stakeholder has an urgent need in having a better understanding on how future regulation would impact the client portfolio. You actively help formulating the problem statement and requirements. To deliver the required insights you translate the business rules and collect, manage and convert raw data into useable information

- Designing and developing solutions in OneLab Data environment using Databricks and PowerBI
- Translation of business needs into adequate development requirements and data solutions within the agreed timelines
- Pro actively identify opportunities for improving and optimizing OneLab architecture

You & your talent
- WO/Master.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as Data Engineer.
- Extensive experience with PySpark, SQL, PowerBI, Databricks, Data Engineering (ETL pipelines).
- Preferably experience with Power Automate, Git.
- Result-oriented, can-do mentality, pioneering spirit, flexible, pragmatic.
- Courage to work with the latest techniques and to implement this structurally within the team.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Customer focussed.
