Senior Product Owner Financial Assessment & Monitoring

Just imagine taking a leading role in the development and continuous improvement of the Credit Risk Cycle, with a focus on how we can optimize financial assessment and monitoring. Reducing “time to yes” in the credit process while maintaining high standards for quality and compliancy.

You and your job

As Senior Product Owner Financial Assessment & Monitoring you will be part of a squad that delivers products and drives innovation related to the execution of the credit assessment, including financial spreading and Cash Flow Analysis. You are responsible for delivering an end-to-end business capability to support and continuously improve the Credit Journey of all our national and international business units. One of the key strategic topics for the future is introducing automatic reading of financial data and the execution of a “fast financial forecast”. An automated (data-driven) module that will provide a forecast of a client’s (future) credit metrics, driven by client-specific past financial performance and the future economic outlook.

To realise these strategic objectives you interact closely with your internal and external stakeholders and develop and maintain a vision for your product/service. You ensure that changes related to policies, processes, data, systems, functional support, training and monitoring & reporting are prioritized to be executed by your multi-functional squad. In case you have an idea to innovate and improve, you can take the lead in bringing these ideas forward.

Currently there are three squads related to Financial Assessment and Monitoring that are part of the Area Credit Risk Assessment and Mitigation (CRAM) within Tribe Credit Core. Together with another Product Owner, you will divide the responsibility of the backlog for the squads. Your focus is on developing a strategy for the future product suite that will support Credit Assessment, focused on the core value indicators of Rabobank: reduced time to yes, less manual work in the credit assessment process while increasing the overall quality of the assessment. You will be working with the squad members and align with stakeholders across the whole Rabobank Group, prioritize the activities of the squad and find common ground for innovation and new value.

Tribe Credit Core

CreditCore is responsible for all centrally managed credit risk business capabilities, meeting business unit’s expectations, so that they can optimally perform their end-to-end credit process for the client. We continuously improve the end-to-end credit journey and ensure regulatory compliancy by design. Credit Core Tribe is an integral part of the Enterprise Risk department within the CRO-domain. As Product Owner, you will be part of the Area Credit Risk Assessment and Mitigation.

The business capabilities we offer are used by all Rabobank business units in the Netherlands and Internationally. We are proud that we work closely with so many colleagues and contribute to One Rabobank. With you as a Product Owner, our Product Owner Guild consists of 19 colleagues.

We believe in the power of difference. Bringing together people's differences is what makes us an even better bank. So we are very curious about what you can bring to our team at CRAM and CreditCore Tribe.

Around 60 people in Area CRAM work on Financial Assessment, Climate and Risk Assessment, Credit Risk Mitigation, Loss Data components and Special Asset Management Support and Provisioning. In our area, we consult and support each other, as well as challenge ourselves and our stakeholders. Diverging opinions are encouraged, multiple scenarios can be considered. With you as Product Owner Financial Assessment and Monitoring, we make this possible together. Working together is the way we work; as 1 complex problem-solving team full of drive at Rabobank.
