As a Senior Business Analyst in the Loan Products and Payments Area within the Financing tribe, you are the link between the business, IT, external parties, and architecture. Together with the other squad members, you ensure continuous product delivery and play a key role in migrations.
We have about 50 nationalities in the Area. End-users, team members, and other stakeholders reside in different locations across the globe. We work in an open, inclusive, and informal environment where everyone can be themselves and is appreciated for who they are.
You and your responsibilities
The area roadmap is very much in development, as we are finishing a big migration and will be preparing to a large upgrade of the core banking system. Also, daily operations do continue in parallel. You’d be busy with
· Gathering business, technical and non-functional requirements by organizing and leading requirement sessions with the business, cross-functional teams and external vendors
· Challenging stakeholders on requirements to fit the architecture, way of working and industry standards
· Developing user stories, leading creation of the implementation plans, impact analyses, functional designs, and documentation of business requirements
· Living the devops mentality by taking part in other SDLC processes such as e.g. testing, investigating production incidents or running stand-by shifts.
You and your talent
Generic role requirements
· Minimum 8 years work experience as a business analyst, process manager, or a technology manager in the corporate banking domain;
· Experience in minimum two of Lending, Facilities, Fees, Agency or Payments domains
· A strong conceptual thinker, able to envision, architect and analyze complex business processes and value chains
· Ability to see through the “faster horses” and understand the “why” behind
Communication
· Ability to influence stakeholders at different levels within the organization
· A natural connector, able unite diverging viewpoints and interests in a heated discussion
Leadership
· You are a team player, capable to coach [junior] team members and keep developing yourself and the people surrounding you
Delivery
· This role requires hands on experience with Oracle Flexcube (must) and MS Azure
· Experience in creating process flows and optimizing systems, with knowledge of associated control and reporting needs;
· Ability to deliver first-time right artefacts for business, IT and security / compliance
· Demonstrated success in developing core banking IT systems
