C# Developer - Tribe External Reporting

This development squad focuses on an application that consumes reports and generates output in XBRL format for reporting to the regulators. As such, the application is the final step in the reporting chain toward the regulators (e.g. EBA, DNB).

You and your job

The 4 people in the XBRL squad develop the XBRL application. This application allows the reporting teams to upload reports via Web UI or Web API’s. These reports can then be validated and converted to XBRL, Excel, and XML and vice versa. As the regulators continuously update the reporting requirements and functionality, the XBRL Squad needs to adapt and expand the application. The XBRL squad owns the XBRL application and therefore has freedom in its development. The challenge: getting the most out of the available technologies and yourself. The XBRL Squad closely cooperates with product owners, users, and other stakeholders.

The bigger picture

You are part of Tribe External Reporting. This department plays a critical role in maintaining Rabobank’s compliance with financial regulations and standards. The teams within Tribe External Reporting are responsible for the accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports to various financial authorities. By leveraging advanced data analytics and reporting tools, we ensure that our reporting processes are efficient, transparent, and compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Top responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the XBRL application and the infrastructure to ensure performance and reliability
  • Analyse requirements and deliver solutions
  • Implement best practices for data management, security, and governance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide ongoing support

Together we achieve more than alone
We believe in the power of difference. Bringing together people's differences is what makes us an even better bank. So we are very curious about what you can bring to our development squad.

"The freedom to work on this tiny island in the big financial ocean feels like a privilege. With many connections to the mainland, we have become an indispensable part. To me it is the ideal place for a creative mind with a sense of reality."

Arjan Pot, Software Engineer
