• Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,115 and EUR 7,308 (scale 10) for a 36 hour week

Vendor and Contract Manager

At IT Vendor Management (IT VM) we manage all suppliers (sourcing, software, hardware) and act as the bridge between CITO and external partners, ensuring control over IT vendors within Rabobank.

You & your job
As Vendor and Contract Manager, you handle a complex field of vendors, contracts, and domains within CITO. You are the main contact for vendor relationships, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost outcomes. You manage procurement and contracting processes, including vendor selection and negotiations, adhering to Rabobank's procedures and policies. You work closely with IT Vendor Management, Procurement, Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams. Additionally, you identify and monitor deviations in contracts, costs, and risks, ensuring compliance and contributing to policy optimization and standardization. You also lead process improvement initiatives and manage vendor performance and expenses.

• Stakeholder Support: Assist domain stakeholders with contracts and SLAs, providing advice on best practices.
• Vendor Management: Oversee assigned vendors at operational, tactical, and strategic levels, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Performance and Risk Management: Advise contract owners on vendor performance and risk assessments, ensuring full compliance.

You & your talent 

• Demonstrable experience with regards to vendor management > 6 years
• Knowledge and experience in IT > 8 years
• Excellent command of the Dutch (mandatory) and English language in speech and writing
• You know how to keep your head cool in stressful times
• Strong problem-solving ability, with a solid pro-active personality – you are not afraid to push back
• (Demonstrable) HBO working and thinking level
• Strong communication skills
• Strong in collaboration but also powerful alone and you excel in building and maintaining strong and solid relationships and networks both internally and externally
• Proactive in following developments in the market and laws and regulations
