At Rabobank, we work together with external suppliers. Supplier data provides a wealth of information that can be used to further reduce Rabobank's supplier costs and supplier risks. In addition, data is the core of the Procurement & Vendor Management (PVM) applications.

As a Data Specialist, you will ensure the data is up and ready for the reporting team. Your role involves setting up the information factory and creating reports by consuming data from the Global Data Platform. Your analytical and systematic approach lays the foundation for smoothly operating systems and high-quality information provision.

Creating impact

• Ensure data from Prisma and One Global Raboshop ready for reporting (querying, transforming data)
• Assist the seamless data ingestion of Procurement solutions (PRISMA and One Global Raboshop) to the cloud solution (Global Data Platform).
• Set up the information factory and ensure transition of reports by consuming data from the Global Data Platform (Procurement system as well as financials).
• Contribute to the development of a vision and strategy on automating reporting process
• Assist the team with creating reports and analyses, translating the outcomes connecting the dashboard with Information Factory for real time data overview.
• Create automatic solution for data quality management in Miscrosoft Power Automate Platform (that is what Tim and Sangeetha built for Elaine, we need someone to maintain and continue the work)
• Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for high-quality analyses based on system informations.

The Procurement & Vendor Management (PVM) organization significantly contributes to optimizing the balance sheet by improving the cost-income ratio and managing contract agreements. PVM selects and manages suppliers that contribute to Rabobank's growth, innovation, and sustainability goals. It actively manages risks arising from contracts and supplier relationships.

The role of Data Specialist falls under the PVM department Services & Policies (S&P). S&P ensures that Procurement and Vendor Management processes are globally compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, S&P provides user-friendly global automation solutions for procurement and vendor management and delivers high-quality insights into contract and supplier data.

Your talents

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant data management and data quality experience, preferably in the financial industry.
• Experience with ETL process. Experience working in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics or similar systems
• Experience working in data visualization tools, preferably Power BI
• Experience in automating process using Power Automate platform
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Strong knowledge of data management concepts, including lineage, data quality monitoring, and issue management.
• Strong knowledge of databases, data warehouses, and data warehouse concepts, and strong knowledge of data querying and transforming languages: SQL, python, M-Query, DAX (must have)
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and tools, prefer Azure DevOps (Azure DevOps Repos)
