As a trusted advisor to the CRO Management Team and a core member of the CRO Strategy Office, you will play a critical role in driving the execution of our One CRO vision—a framework designed to unify, simplify, and strengthen risk management to drive sustainable business performance.

This role calls for a Strategy Advisor who excels at breaking down complex challenges, engaging diverse stakeholders, and translating bold strategies into tangible results.

Your Impact

As a CRO Strategy Advisor, you will:

• Champion the One CRO vision: Collaborate with the CRO Management Team (MT CRO) to drive alignment, optimize governance, and embed the One CRO drivers: one recognizable CRO domain, pro-active risk management, and business partnering;
• Advance Strategic Priorities: Facilitate, define, and monitor the CRO strategic agenda, ensuring alignment with organizational goals;
• Lead Cross-Functional Efforts: Facilitate and coordinate senior CRO management teams to address key strategic priorities, fostering collaboration across financial and non-financial risks;
• Support the CRO and MT CRO: Act as a sparring partner and strategic advisor, preparing storylines, presentations, and insights that enable the CRO to make informed, impactful decisions;
• Translate Strategy into Action: Guide high-profile initiatives, including off-sites, workshops, and communication efforts, ensuring seamless execution and measurable outcomes;
• Drive Excellence in Storytelling: Develop compelling presentations and narratives that communicate the CRO’s strategic vision and influence decision-making across the organization;

You and your talent

• A strong background in strategy consulting (experience at a top-tier consulting firm is highly valued);
• A deep understanding of banking and financial services, particularly in risk management and governance;
• The ability to think strategically and design actionable solutions for complex organizational challenges;
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills (English/Dutch), with a proven ability to influence and inspire senior stakeholders;
• A results-driven mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver tangible outcomes;
• A strong affinity for structured thinking, storytelling, and developing presentations with a clear narrative arc;
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a track record of building relationships across complex organizational structures.
