You and your job
As Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Officer – Risk Management & Intelligence you play a critical role by providing strategic advice and challenge on the risk management of financial economic crime (FEC). This position is within the 2nd line of responsibly (LoR) and primary responsibilities include providing contributions to the Group FEC Systematic Integrity Risk Analysis (SIRA), FEC risk intelligence and a constructive and critical challenge on emerging FEC risks and follow-up within the bank. You will do so in a dedicated and dynamic team in a demanding environment with a global scope.

Top 5 responsibilities

  • You actively monitor pivotal sources and manage our network to stay on top of emerging FEC threats. You translate them into potential risks for Rabobank and share these with relevant stakeholders;
  • You challenge and advise on prioritization, outcomes and follow-up of FEC investigations by 1st LoR applying a risk-based approach;
  • You contribute to the FEC SIRA cycle and FCC opinion based on your knowledge of FEC risks;
  • You act as a strong sparring partner and liaison for stakeholders within compliance and the 1st LoR and proactively share insights;
  • You set-up and advise on processes that improve our way of working in the dynamic FEC environment and simplify risk management of the bank.

FCC Risk Management & Intelligence is part of the broader Financial Crime Compliance team which consists of approximately 145 colleagues. Our team contributes to defining the control framework and improving the risk management of anti-financial crime, which is one of the banks’ top priorities. You and your talent

  • You have a university degree or equivalent level of work/experience;
  • You show understanding of risk management or the ability to learn this on the job;
  • You have the ability to familiarize yourself with a wide range of FEC topics in a limited period of time;
  • You have strong communications skills and are comfortable in providing challenge;
  • You are able to design a process together with stakeholders;
  • You are fluent in English and as a minimum you have decent Dutch language skills;
  • You know how to prioritize and deliver.
