Are you a proactive go-getter with a passion for driving business growth in the European Energy Transition? Join our ET&C team and work with high-impact Renewable Energy and Infrastructure clients across Europe. We're spearheading the ambitious B4ET growth plan and establishing Rabobank’s third strategic pillar. You'll work closely with Senior Bankers, gaining invaluable insights and building a powerful network. Your role will involve supporting Senior Relationship Bankers with pitches and client interactions to expand our European client portfolio and maximize cross-sell opportunities with Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Developer clients.

The Team: Client Coverage Large Corporates NL, also known as Senior Relationship Banking (SRB), manages relationships with the bank's largest clients. Our coverage bankers are the first point of contact, aligning all products and departments both externally and internally. The team drives the European B4ET growth plan and mandate alongside European branches. You'll join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with an ambitious mindset that values social activities and work-life balance.

Team ET&C is one of five sector teams within Client Coverage NL, operating at the heart of the European Energy Transition markets. We cover seven sectors: Clean Tech, Offshore Services & Equipment, Renewable Production, Grids, Storage, Clean Energy Trading, and Circularity.

Drive Results:

• Collaborate with Project Finance and other departments within the bank, such as Sponsor Coverage, Value Chain Finance, Capital Structuring & Advisory, M&A, Markets, and Specialized Lending.
• Take a proactive approach to market developments, identifying new clients and opportunities.
• Assist with broader strategic projects for the team and senior management, contributing to internal projects that optimize the organization and development of the department.

Responsibilities:

• Support Senior Bankers in managing and expanding existing client relationships, developing strategic financing solutions, and leveraging your expertise to support Rabobank's growth in the energy transition.
• Prepare and coordinate discussions and presentations for clients and prospects.
• Collaborate closely with Senior Bankers in their daily activities and strategy development.

You bring:

• A relevant MSc degree.
• 0 to 2-3 years of working experience.
• A proactive, go-getter attitude.
• Business development skills to identify new prospects and opportunities, driving growth effectively.
• The ability to support senior relationship managers, ensuring successful pitches and client engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
