- Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,331 and EUR 6,186 (scale 09) for a 36 hour week

You and your job
Being a Global Cash & Custody Network Manager also demands active alignment and dialogue with a broad set of external & internal stakeholders (including overseas Rabobank branches as internal clients) ranging from Treasury & Markets Front office Trading desks, risk partners, compliance, legal, technology & operations teams. Furthermore, the role of the Global Network Manager is evolving along with the overall transformation currently taking place within the financial services industry. Therefore, we would expect you to also follow market developments in the areas of Blockchain; Fin-techs; Sustainability, and Regulation.

- Manage risks by identifying market and operational risks and address them accordingly;
- Instigate and drive change based upon investigation & analysis of new and emerging markets, opportunities & restrictions based upon the business needs of our internal stakeholders.
- Onboard and/or offboard Rabobank’s Banking Partners such as Securities and Cash/Clearing service Providers.
- Participate and represent Rabobank’s interests within various relevant industry bodies and forums.
- Steer on Rabobank’s Banking network based upon KPI & KRI.

Top 5 Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with External Banking Partners or Agent Banks to provide best-in-class service, transparency, governance, and control over external accounts & assets held by Rabobank entities globally.
- Take ownership of communicating to stakeholders regarding network strategy, and market & regulatory changes impacting Rabobank’s business and our clients.
- Regularly assess and evaluate the performance of the existing Network of Rabobank’s banking partners.
- Actively Manage your portfolio of Banking Partners who offers Global/Domestic custody & Correspondent banking Products to Rabobank.
- Act as a point of escalation and resolution for Banking Partners' performance on Service Level issues on an ongoing basis; escalating issues as required with Service Providers or Agents at all levels of the Management chain.

The 6 team members within Global Network Management support Rabobank’s local and global ambitions by creating and managing best-of-breed strategic Financial Institution partnerships. These consist of various Service Providers, for example, Cash Agents, Global Custodians, Issuing & Paying, Agents & Markets Infrastructures in the areas of Wholesale Cash, Securities, and Derivatives businesses respectively, and for the processing of our client and financial market activities. You and your talent
- Master’s degree or equivalent comparable working experience.
- Extensive knowledge in Securities clearing & Settlements with a focus on Securities market infrastructures including Global Custodian, CSD, etc.
- Extensive understanding of Global cash clearing & correspondent banking services in Financial Institutions.
- Relationship management and Project Management skills.
- Knowledge of operational risk & stakeholder management within wholesale international financial markets.
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI) and a data-driven mindset would be a plus.
- Continuous improvement mindset in an operational environment, creating efficiency and optimizing Rabobank’s Network of Banking partners.
- Organizing Due Diligence checks and executing RFI/RFP processes for appointing new strategically important banking partners for Rabobank.
- Able to successfully promote partnerships, and encourage collaboration, information sharing, and discussion by representing Rabobank in Industry forums.
- English language skills in International Environment.
