You and your job

Working as Business Analyst in area 'Banking-as-a-Service' you play a crucial role in designing and implementing IT solutions together with your DevOps squad. Of course everything aligned to business, IT and architectural requirements. As business analyst you‘re the linking pin between business and IT. In this position you will work in squad Power Rangers. This squad is responsible for all supporting processes of the Rabobank Embedded Services proposition. Main applications that supporting these business processes are an CRM application and Data Platform. With these applications we support the entire customer lifecyle with us; from orientation to billing and from onboarding to case management. You will work in a broad and firm stakeholder field like Sales, Partnership Management, Compliance Legal and Risk, Rabobank Product Tribes (e.g. Payments) and Rabobank support departments. Squad Power Rangers is key to achieve the ambitions of Rabobank Embedded Services to ensure our embedded services can be sold and distributed at scale. To achieve this ambition, we need you to make our products, services and IT landscape ready for scale!

You will work in the area ‘Banking-as-a-Service’ where our day-to-day business focuses on building the platform of Rabobank Embedded Services. This platform contains everything needed to serve public API’s and other integration patterns of Rabobank. By that we can offer Rabobank products and services via third party platforms and ensure a smooth and safe integration of API Producers and API Consumers. A concrete example? A bookkeeping party signs a contract to integrate Rabobank Payments API’s in their software so a Rabobank business customer can easily use Rabobank services in the bookkeeping environment directly.

Our Area consists of five multidisciplinary hybrid IT DevOps squads in an international environment based in two locations (Netherlands and Romania). The squads bears an end-to-end responsibility for their products. This we do with a DevOps mindset; ‘you build it, you run it’.

Practical examples

• Together with the Product Owner en Solution Architect you identify requirements and designs a new solution for Pricing and Billing processes.
• In close collaboration with stakeholders from Sales and Customer Support you analyse their processes and identifies improvements in our CRM application.
• You identify stakeholder needs and determines improvements to our Data platform which is used to create customer insights.
• As first point of contact for functional questions you support your IT DevOps squad during the implementation of a new feature related to Tier Pricing and Volume Discount

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and internal stakeholders to identify customer needs and requirements to shape our processes related to CRM and Data platform.
• Translate business requirements to squad level, take part in the refinement and support your IT DevOps squad during the entire software delivery lifecycle.
• You analyse CRM processes and our Data platform to identify gaps, determine impact and suggest improvements

You and your talent

To be successful in this role, you should find yourself in the following criteria:

• Experience as Business Analyst in IT development teams
• Experience with working in the area between business and IT
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong collaboration skills with both IT and business people
• You’re a self-starter with a pro-active attitude
• You have a critical view on things, dares to speak up and challenge the status quo
• You have an agile mindset and experience with working in scrum environments
• You’re familiar with software development and IT delivery processes
• Experience in CRM and supporting function processes is a plus
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Experience with Data platforms is a plus
