• Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,331 and EUR 6,186 (scale 09) for a 36 hour week

Would you like to attend the Tech Financial Management team as our new FinOps Business Consultant ?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FinOps business consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of best practices in Finance and DevOps and you are able to build and nurture the FinOps community.  

You ensure that the FinOps champions within Rabobank can learn from each other, that processes and products are improved so the organisation can steer more efficient on IT cost.Next to that you have a clear vison on FinOps training for all different persona’s who works within Rabobank on this topic. You naturally make connections between different stakeholders within our organisation and the outside world. 

You & your role
You will be part of the Tech Support Office within Enterprise & Engineering Tech. More specifically the Tech Financial Management Capability. A collaboration between Technology Business Management (part of TSO) and the Central FinOps Team (Tech4Engineering, Engineering Platforms).

You have a clear vision on FinOps, training, stakeholder management and communication. Next to that you ensure that the FinOps champions can learn from each other so they can give attention to the recommendations in their teams/ area’s so the organisation can steer more efficient on IT cost. You naturally make connections between different stakeholders within our organisation and the outside world.

• Mature the FinOps capability at Rabobank in collaboration with TBM (TSO) and Central FinOps Team from a bottom-up perspective
• Spread awareness around FinOps throughout the organisation by presenting about FinOps in collaboration with Champions and team members (Engineers Week; QBRs; MT’s, OR; etc.)
• Increase maturity of FinOps Champions community through training. Develop FinOps trainings to onboard new FinOps Champions and strengthen the community
• Foster a strong, engaged community of > 120 FinOps Champions throughout the CITO organisation.
• Facilitate meetings and organise events.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to FinOps Champions such as helping them understande Finops principles, best practises and how to apply them in their roles.
• Collaboration with Sustainable IT. FinOps and Sustainability are partly overlapping capabilities

Collaboration

• Within the Tech Support Office E&E you work with more than 30 colleague’s together on different organisation and support topics for management and squads.
• Availability off 36 hours per week

 “As a FinOps consultant, I engage with various stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. I create and guide our FinOps Champions Network by facilitating multiple meetings, setting-up training sessions incl. post-training follow-up. I organize and facilitate our quarterly FinOps Champions meet-ups to foster a sense of community and continuous learning.“

You & Your talent

• You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience within Business or IT
• Experience with FinOps
• Strong communications skills to manage discussion and meetings
• Strong presentation skills to spread the FinOps philosophy and culture
• Experience and vision on training and organising training programs and workshops
•  Strong abilities to guide and inspire FinOps Champions
• You are a teamplayer and pro-active
