Global Information Security Officer – COO W&R

This is what we offer you
- Gross monthly salary between EUR 3,712 and EUR 5,300 (scale 08) for a 36 hour week
- Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance

You and your job
The successful candidate is a passionate IT security enthusiast who embeds a proactive approach to IT security from a process, insight, and the implementation of security practices within the organisation. You have an eye for detail and communicate well with stakeholders to highlight the importance of security measures with an understanding of the business line needs while protecting the bank.
Collaboration is a strong component of this role as you will liaise with stakeholders in an international environment. The successful candidate will also get energy from working in a team environment and learning from each other to continue to grow.
To be successful in the role you will need to have a good understanding of Rabobank security policies and be able to interpret local needs of your region to implement the policy requirements. Security and Risk have a close relationship, we are looking for someone who can implement a mature approach in line with our RCF to identify security risks and implement mitigating actions for the services we provide.
Security awareness has long described ‘people are key’ to the success of securing the bank. Understanding the threat landscape that financial organisations are exposed to will help you in designing training and security awareness for Wholesale and Rural regions. Staying up to date on trends will be paramount in providing advice and steering security initiatives as part of Rabobank cyber and IT strategy.
From time to time, you will need to participate in audit interviews. As part of your role, you will consume monitoring of vulnerabilities, application/system security assessments, security controls, and the following of policies and standards; in-depth knowledge of these processes and how we implement them will assist you within these audits. Providing security advice in the onboarding of services and projects will be an additional focus area.

You will be working in the Business Management team of the Chief Operating Officer Wholesale and Rural. This is a diverse team of 19 colleagues working on various topics, with different expertise and interests. What we have in common? The culture can be characterized as open, entrepreneurial and with strong attention for personal development. The team supports the COO W&R by providing management support to the Management Team.
You and your talent
- You are able to transfer complex matters into understandable communication products.
- You are a relationship builder and comfortable managing scenarios in different environments both locally and globally.
- You have affinity with Wholesale & Rural Banking, IT and Operations.
- You have a Bachelor or master’s degree in IT Security and or Business Continuity/Resilience with a minimum of 5 years working in this field.
- You are fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
- You can adapt quickly and like to work in a constantly changing environment.
