As part of Rabobank’s Global Markets division you can help us grow our Europe & Africa wholesale corporate clients franchise.

You and your job
You will be based out of the Rabobank Dealing Room in Utrecht, a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and be part of the broader Corporate Risk & Treasury Management (CRTM) Team that serves our Dutch and broader Europe & Africa client base for Commodities, FX/MM, Interest Rates and Equity hedging solutions. You represent Markets and therefore Rabobank as a knowledge driven and high quality partner in Commodity Derivative products with a specific focus on energy. Internally, you work closely with Relationship Managers, Credit, Legal, Risk Management, Research and several different Markets Trading Desks. Your client contacts are Procurement Managers, Group Treasurers, and CFO’s. Markets values: Balance, Integrity, Respect and Responsibility are key in your daily practices.

  • Develop and grow relationships at Procurement Manager/Corporate Treasurer/CFO level;
  • Create more cross and deep sell on high value ambition clients and prospects;
  • Ensure success in Commodities domain for our Dutch, Banking For Food and Banking for Energy Transition clients.


Top 3 responsibilities

  • Execution of commodity derivative products with focus on Food & Agri or Energy Transition clients;
  • Analysis of clients' commodity exposures to ensure growth of the business;
  • Active coverage of a portfolio of clients.

You and your talent

  • Master degree in Finance, Business Administration or other relevant education;
  • 5+ years relevant working experience with the Markets Division of a leading financial institution;
  • Suitable knowledge of commodity derivative instruments - trading, sales, execution and product development;
  • Creativity in your complex problem solving skills and performing while being in control;
  • Service orientation towards our external and internal clients;
  • Knowledge of Markets’ local and global business and stakeholders is preferable;
  • Judgement & decision making: you need to be able to make snap decisions when necessary;
  • Fluent in English, and preferably at least one more European language;
  • The candidate has to be allowed to work within the European Union area.
