Junior Data Steward

• Gross monthly salary between EUR 3,314 and EUR 4,733 (scale 07) for a 36 hour week
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
• 10% Employee Benefit Budget
• EUR 1,400 development budget per year

Imagine that the client data  you maintain is used by almost every product system  and reporting system with the wholesale and rural domain of Rabobank and is key to manage the client relation and meet regulatory requirements.

We need Data Stewards who are constantly  look for better solutions to capture and maintain customer data and  pro-actively address identified shortcomings with business representatives and data consumers.

You and your job
The work you do will impact not only your team and your internal and external stakeholders, but also the client servicing process and therefore the bank’s core business.

Our Data Stewards have interaction with many stakeholders to understand their needs.  Their needs are translated in business requirement to facilitate optimized workflows and minimal manual interferences based on global data standards. This directly impacts the way Rabobank actively serves its clients.

Practical Examples

• You will pro-actively support global users to capture client data attributes in the wholesale and rural systems
• You build and monitor Data Quality Dashboards on critical data attributes used in various process within Rabobank
• You are involved in projects to connect producers and consumers of data attributes to our domain and participate in the migration and cleansing of relevant data attributes

• As a Data Steward  you ensure Data Quality of Client data in wholesale systems and understand the importance of this data for risk assessment and reporting processes within Rabobank
• Support Data Consumers of client data in their needs and translate their needs in clear processes
• Support  team members in their daily challenges

You and your talent

• You hold a Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field and ready for a career in data
• You have strong analytical skills  and not afraid to take ownership of issues;
• You are familiar with data management concepts and BCBS239 standards;
• You are comfortable working in an operational data processing environment and performing run & maintain activities;
• Have strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
• Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that applicants are currently residing in the Netherlands. This is necessary to ensure availability for on-site meetings.
