As Data Steward Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) at ASN Bank, you play a key role in managing, monitoring and improving data quality within our risk environment. You ensure that our IRB data, IFRS9 data and other relevant risk data are timely, accurate, complete and reliable for decision-making, reporting and risk management purposes. What will you do?You will be located in one of the three departments in QRM that own models; either focussing on data for IRB models, IFRS models or EC and Stress Testing models. You will work closely with the other QRM departments, but also Lending department and IT; and you are also the point of contact towards the rest of the Bank regarding data steward related tasks. You ensure good data governance, working with robust data standards and implementing and complying with internal and external regulations (such as ESG and BCBS239 regulations).Your responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the quality, completeness and consistency of credit risk data in collaboration with data owner and model owner teams.
  • Maintaining and applying data standards, definitions and business rules.
  • Identifying and resolving data quality issues (data lineage, duplication, inconsistencies).
  • Supporting regulatory reporting and data audits (including BCBS239, ESG reporting).
  • Coordinating with data owners and domain specialists, such as Finance, Lending, Compliance and other data stewards.
  • Actively contributing to the establishment of data governance and metadata management.
  • Monitoring data flows and identifying risks in data quality or integrity.
  • Ensuring cost insight, control and monitoring of data contracts.

Your qualities

  • HBO/University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science or comparable.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a data steward or in a similar role within Risk.
  • Knowledge of risk management practices.
  • Experience with data quality tools (for instance Collibra) and data governance (including SQL).
  • Accurate, structured and solution-oriented mindset.

Depending on your experience, this position is in scale 9 or 10 with a salary range between € 4.386,45 and € 6.654,42 gross annual fixed income (13th month and 8% holiday allowance included) and based on 36 hours workweek. In addition, you can count on:
