Enterprise-level Architect Application Layer
- Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 6,475 and EUR 9,250 (scale 11).

You & your role
As an Enterprise-level Architect Application Layer, you will shape the enterprise-wide standards and principles that guide our application and integration landscape and you will monitor compliance. You take responsibility for achieving objectives across domains and have a strong focus on results. You will work closely with other architects and stakeholders to drive simplification and rationalization, making a tangible impact on the bank’s digital transformation.

- Drive measurable simplification of the application landscape and improve architectural quality through identification of targeted rationalization and modernization initiatives
- Architecture guidance for applications and integration that is up to date with new developments in the market

- Provide guidance to circa 130 business architects and 350 solution architects
- Serving 9.5 million customers worldwide.
Top 3 responsibilities
- Delivering enterprise-wide guidance for structuring, implementing and integrating applications to ensure alignment with business and technology strategy.
- Monitoring and governing compliance with architecture standards, leading the Integration Architecture Board and collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Advance the Application Value Analysis methodology, define enterprise-wide quality benchmarks, and propose rationalization initiatives to optimize the application portfolio.

The architects of the Enterprise Architecture team are responsible for setting the overall architecture direction by formulating enterprise-wide standards and guidelines and monitor compliance. These architects work closely with colleagues from the various Architecture Domain teams. The Domain teams apply the enterprise-wide standards and guidelines in their specific areas and help guide the actual implementation. You’ll also work closely with fellow Enterprise Architects, the Integration Architecture Board, and the Architecture Support Office to ensure cohesive and future-proof architectural guidance.

You & your talent
- Leadership & Communication: Strong focus on results. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business domains.
- Change Expertise: Proven experience in application architecture within large-scale enterprise environments; experience with application portfolio management and technical debt analysis.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of integration patterns and technologies and DevOps practices, familiarity with application rationalization strategies
