As a Senior Data Engineer, you will help shape Rabobank’s digital transformation by delivering innovative data solutions that support over 7.1 million customers in 40 countries.

You & Your Function

Guide and inspire your team as a Senior Data Engineer, developing high-quality, innovative solutions within the Data & Analytics Execution team. Collaborate with engineers, analytics translators, and business stakeholders to deliver robust applications, such as the global reporting application GLORY, and contribute to Rabobank’s digital transformation.

Examples from Practice

• Develop and maintain the GLORY global reporting application, supporting both front and back office operations.
• Guide and mentor junior and medior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with global data hubs to deliver structural and innovative solutions for the W\&R business.

You & Your Talent

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in BI development and Data Engineering, preferably in the Azure ecosystem
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Fabric, YAML
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Solid knowledge of infrastructure-as-code using Bicep or Terraform
• Proficient in Azure DevOps, CI/CD practices with Git, scripting deployment workflows
• Experience with Power Platform: Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps
