Are you up for a sales challenge with an international scope? Then the Business Development department within the Commercial Office of Wealth Management is looking for you!
You will become a Business Development Consultant with a strong focus on supporting the growth of our Wealth Management business across 4 countries. A challenging role in a multi-disciplinary environment. In your role you will support the development of growth initiatives together with the local sales organisations. These initiatives are translated in sales steering programmes, activities and financial objectives.

Your job
Within the Wealth Management Business Development Team you will get the opportunity to support the realisation of our Growth Ambitions:
• Define and support the Commercial Sales Strategy development
• Support key strategic opportunities for Wealth Management
• Facilitate strategy execution efforts across our north-western European markets
• Act as linking pin within the 4 countries
• Support the optimization of our Sales Strategy
Working environment
The Commercial Office is the growth engine for the Wealth Management, and consists out of several teams such as Marketing Data Analytics, E-Commerce, and the Business Development team. The teams work for all of our four PB countries (Netherlands, Germany, France and Belgium).
The Business Development team consists out of 6 passionate professionals with a broad track-record inside and outside of the bank. Each colleague brings a specific skill-set to the team. You will work in a complex and international environment, with multiple client segments and a mix of cultures. We build the bridge between our Head-office and the local sales organisations. Our team-meetings and internal communication is all in English.
Your profile
You are a team player with strong communicative skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. You like to take ownership and don’t wait for action. You also like to collaborate with other teams across the bank, and are not afraid to challenge the most senior stakeholders to bring new idea’s on the table.
Check your profile:
• University degree (preferably MBA)
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience in Business Development/Innovation/Strategy
• Good understanding of the financial industry, especially Wealth Management
• Excellent in English language (additional language is appreciated)
• High intercultural sensitivity and organisational awareness
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to turn data into practical insights
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written (PowerPoint)
• Able to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and issues (T-shaped professional)
• Willingness to occasionally travel to our PB Countries
